It didn't work for my hair as it did for the YouTuber. However, this gel does keep my hair looking sleek when wearing a ponytail. I also like the curly/crinkly affect it gives my hair when I braid it after washing. It makes my hair shiny and healthy looking. It does not flake or cake up on your hair. The scent is light and pleasant not like some gels that smells of chemicals or just unpleasant. I will buy again, hoping the price will drop as it is quite expensive for the amount you receive. I wash my hair at least once a week. This gel is great for my hair but I still blend it with flaxseed gel. The problem is that it used to be available locally but now I can only find it here. Locally it cost me about $14 now it's $20 with Amazon. This is the trial of wearing natural hair is that companies are always changing product formulas and availability so there is a constant need to try new things. Some people don't like how sticky this gel is but it works for my hair. It holds my curls well enough. Does the typical gel thing and leaves your hair a bit crunchy.Took off two stars because of how the product arrived. I think they have some manufacturing issues. The amazon box was in perfect condition but the product itself doesn't come sealed properly. The gel had leaked out of it's seal. Seems the gel ests through the paper seal they apply. So I lost quite a bit of product and it took a bit of time to clean. It was hard to show just how much gel was actually all over the outside but I attached photos for reference.Another star lost because they wrote in to see how I liked the product and I let them know of how it arrived but I got no response. That's bad customer service. For the price, I shouldn't have to worry about the gel leaking before getting to me.
