Karma Baby Slings Organic Sling, Black, Medium

This sling did not work for me. I was uncomfortable and nearly impossible for me to get my newborn in even after I watched video after video. I did appreciate that it is organic and I'm sure someone more savvy could use this just fine, but from me--it ended up going back.

I wanted a no hassle, easy and quick solution to carry my baby. This sling is excellent! I have tried two other types of carriers but they were not as quick and easy to adjust on the go. My baby loves this sling too; she knows its nap time when the sling comes out.

The sizing for this is all wrong. I wouldn't purchase this product without trying it on first. I have a short torso, but that doesn't mean that my baby is small... so basically, my baby didn't fit in the sling because the sizing was off. :(

My newborn loves the sling. When he fusses I put him in here and he falls right asleep, EVERYTIME! However if you plan on going out somewhere with your baby in it or plan on getting some housework done it will wear you out. My shoulders start to hurt about 30-45 min into wearing it and thats with a newborn! I can't even imagine when he gets to be a couple months old. My husband uses this on him too but I'm sure men can tolerate the strain more then women, or it could just be that im still exhausted from the pregnancy/labor, who knows... Otherwise amazing for soothing your baby. They love the closeness and warmth of your body.

Dangerous, don't use! Not supportive enough

The padding is on the side between baby and mom instead of baby and world, the side baby rests his/her arm on. It doesn't seem to bother my son, but he is kinda little for his age so if u have a big baby, you may want to look elsewhere. Other than that its a good sturdy sling and I like the exterior pocket for my cell phone or some wipes for his perpetually slobbery little hands. I can tell he likes this sling because he gets a little excited (smiles BIG, giggles, waves hands) when he sees mommy putting our sling on, and I like it because it frees up my hands to get a few things done while still keeping him close, and it reduces my back strain.

Well my wife actually is the one who bought this, but we have both used it. It's great! Our daughter is now almost five months and we still use it. She enjoys falling asleep in it if we are out and about and she is getting tired and otherwise it is generally just a nice way to carry her comfortably for her and the person doing the carrying. Very pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone (actually I do believe my wife has now gotten it as a baby shower present for two other expecting mothers, so there ya go).
