**Q: What is the coverage per gallon?**
A: Boat Cover :
I have a 24 foot open bow boat. It took 2 gallons to fully saturate the bow cover and mooring cover. I used a pump sprayer. I wish it went further and I would have sprayed the other sides, but 1 application cost over $150 and probably saturated through to the other side anyway.

**Q: Can 303 be used in a washing machine**
A: I do not recall if it specifically states that it can or cannot be used in a washing machine. We have only used it to spray the outdoor furniture, i.e. fabric cushions, etc to make them resistant to rain and water. If used as directed rain and/or water will bead up and not penetrate the fabric cushions.

**Q: The description says it is for. Carpet.  Does that include household carpet?**
A: Yes you can use this on non-vinyl/plastic carpet. However it does produce a strong odor for 2-3 days after application, so if indoors you will want to apply it only on those days where you can open all doors, windows, etc. for adequate ventilation. In our case we often leave for the first night or so to avoid the odor. After adequate drying there is no residual smell nor any discoloration of materials. As for effectiveness, it is an excellent product that protects for several years. Also, you need to know that there are two similar products. One provides UV protection only. The other has a wax additive that adds waterproofing. We use the latter on all outdoor applications. Both have given us excellent protection aboard our sailboat. What else is there to say? We like and have used these two products for years. Good luck and may the wind favor your application.

**Q: Is this ok on vinyl**
A: this product is only for fabric.  Use 303 Products 30350 Aerospace Protectant for anything else: vinyl, leather, plastic, etc.  I have used both products and they perform great!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This stuff is the bomb!

I have a Classics Accessories boat cover that I bought from Amazon back in 2010 that is still in excellent condition. Unfortunately, its ability to repel water is no longer all it could be. Doing a little research, I came upon this product courtesy of the Sumbrella folks and thought I'd give it a try. There are basically two steps and you need at least one day when it isn't going to rain to get the full benefit. First, you clean your cover with 303 Products Fabric and Vinyl Cleaner. I bought the 32 oz size and hardly used any of it. A little goes a long way. I just wet down the cover on the boat with water, sprayed some cleaner on it, then scrubbed it with a soft boat brush on a pole. Hose it down well when you're done and walk away. Come back tomorrow. If it rains, no big deal. It's the application of the water repellent that requires 12 hours of sunshine; not the cleaner. The next day, I sprayed down the boat cover with the 303 Products High Tech Fabric Guard with Water Repellent. I used one of those $15 pump up sprayers that you use to spray Round Up in your yard and it took the whole gallon to treat my boat cover (which is on a 17' power boat). I walked away again. 12 hours later it was completely cured. This morning I stepped outside with a glass of water and threw it on the cover. The water blew off the cover like a hurricane was chasing it. Unbelievable! Talk about hydrophobic! I could not be more pleased. This isn't cheap but I can't see how anything else on the market could work better. It is incredibly effective. According to Sunbrella, I should be good for another three years, assuming the cover doesn't just wear out first. It sits in the sun out in the driveway every day the boat isn't actually on the water.
