The Brentwood Shagalicious Bedret Pillow makes life so much easier for college students who need to stay up late at night on their laptop to finish homework, or for anybody who reads, plays video games and needs the extra support. I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely recommend this to my friends. I was looking for something to support me while I used my laptop on my bed, the support is a little iffy but the softness and quality makes up for it! I had added my regular pillows or my wall to support the back of it and now the support is perfect. Because of this pillow, I no longer feel aching in my back or stiffness in my neck after sitting long periods of time. Big, adorable, and soft! I am an artist who likes to draw sitting upright on my bed, and my normal pillow propping my back up just was not working. This thing is perfect for sitting up in bed, not flimsy or scratchy at all. The hot pink color is so cute, and the fur on it is soft and cuddly. It's a little hefty, but it's basically 3 square feet of pure fluff, so I can't blame it. No problems to report so far, since this kind of pillow doesn't usually get roughed up easily. Would definitely recommend.

For reference, I'm 5'5" and 115lb.I work on my bed a lot. I usually had to prop up a pillow and it was pretty uncomfortable so I decided to invest in this bedrest. This bedrest is excellent. It's not too soft, and provides a good amount of support, but it's still very comfortable and squishy. It's like a firm pillow. The color is adorable too. I love how there's arm rests as well; I bought this with my laptop buddy and it fits perfectly in my lap so that working on my bed is 10 times more comfortable.However, it does not provide support for your neck and I find myself sliding down more often than I'd like. So I'd recommend buying a neck pillow too.

My daughters, ages 13 & 10, love these! They use them for all sorts of situations, and even asked to take them on a recent car trip.The shaggy fabric is so soft and comfy, much prettier than the plain fabric versions of this style of pillow. The construction is also not as stiff as some plain versions of this that I'd found in the past, making it more comfortable to ease into. The weight is great too, not so light that it scoots easily when leaning on it, but not too heavy to pick up easily.One girl has the pink, which has a bit of an orange tone on my screens that is not there in person. The other has the lime, which is brighter in person.This pillow even helped recently when one of them had an awful head & chest cold. Using this pillow, combined with a couple of bed pillows, we were able to prop her up to get a better night's sleep. The shape of this pillow made this much easier than when we'd tried it in the past with just bed pillows.Overall a great buy, very pretty and useful - I definitely recommend them.

This is very lightweight, and portable. We redid my daughter's bedroom in pink and green and used a large floor cushion under this in the corner, to create a reading nook. She LOVES it! It is super soft and plush, and I like that it's lightweight, and portable (she can carry it up her ladder on the loft bed easily). However, I would NOT purchase this for an adult to use, as it simply isn't supportive enough. But when sitting atop a floor cushion, it works perfectly for my tween. No issues with shedding, but we got the lime green one, and it was way cheaper from this seller than others. Very pleased with this purchase!

What can we expect. Great cozy pillow, we bought 4 of them for our 4 kids, all different colors, and all but one has had the handle rip easily, spilling some of the cotton out,and needing repair. Our kids are little, so this was a gentle hold by dad or mom to move the pillow, when we hear now 3 times, on 3 different pillows, "RIP!" a nice rip of the thread pulling half the handle off, leaving a whole, that i not repaired quickly, will allow the kids to play with the brown cotton inside. Other than that, which one can fix, these have been fun for the kids and nice for mom and dad's backs when sitting with them for some time, or working on the laptop.Kinda worrisome, having read another review just now, that the textile materials are of UNKNOWN KINDS 100%? So is the brown cotton in the pillow, died brown, because it is recycled, or was so dirty the manufacturer decided to dye the stuff dark brown so as to cover up the dirt, or materials? Kinda scary if you ask me. We'll hope they bleached them to kill anything then dyed them, as they smelled new, and are new, but who knows with today's issues with materials from China, which is where they most likely got the innards of the pillows.

I just got my pillow delivered in the mail. I love it! I'm a college student. I also love to read in my spare time. I do, however, have a real bad problem with slouching when sitting down for an extended period of time. I try to remind myself to not slouch. Then while concentrating on trying to understand course materials, I end up slouching without my noticing. Then all of sudden, my back starts aching. I can already tell that this pillow is gonna help me a lot with that problem. Additionally, this pillow is really soft and comfortable. I'm normally not to into bright colors but don't really mind it for this product and price. I thought it was going be sort of small for me when viewing the pictures on this site. Actually, no, it's the ideal size for me. I would recommend getting this if you have younger relatives that study a lot; or just anyone you know who has a problem of slouching when they sit down for awhile during activities like watching a movie or T.V. :)

Our 5-year old daughter loves it in her room. Soft, comfy, fun colour, and just the right size for a child. It is great. The only thing to beware of is because it is good quality it is a little heavy. Not too heavy for an adult by any means, but our 5-year-old struggles to lift it off the floor and on to the bed. But that doesn't take away from it, its just a symptom of it using good quality materials.

Bought it for my 9 year old daughter and she loves it. It is very soft and she says it is very comfortable. She uses it everyday. I was actually surprised on how heavy it was and how good the quality feels like.
