Coaster Home Furnishings Retro 3-Piece Chrome Bar Stools and Table Set

I love what I purchased. I was just very unhappy with the time it took to get it. The set was ordered on December 14 and I was told I would have it before Christmas. It was to have shipped on December 19, but I did not receive it until January 14. I don't have a problem with an order taking time to deliver. Just don't tell me I will have it, and then not send it. The product itself is very nice, so for that I give 4 stars. On delivery, 1 star . . . tops.

This set looks great and the stools were easy to put together but the table was another story. I had to bend the legs at the joint a good bit to get them to fit in the mounts in the bottom of the table and ended up pulling one out some (partially due to my impatience). All in all a good looking set and seem to be holding up alright just as long as you have patience with assembly.

We're so happy with this table! It arrived right on time, was really simple to assemble, and it is holding up great as our kitchen area table! My boyfriend and I just moved into a tiny NYC apartment with minimal space for a dining table and chairs, but this set is a perfect size for the space and is perfectly fine for two people to use as a dining table. The stools and table are sturdy (those complaining that they aren't most likely did not assemble it in secure enough! It's gonna wobble if you don't tighten every bolt the furthest it can be tightened...) and the chrome/ pleather/ tabletop are all holding up beautifully. Methinks that the reviewers who complain about the quality are simply too careless with this table and do not know the properties of the materials used... pleather will never be as strong as leather. That is what you get when you choose the cheaper option and you should treat the product accordingly! Same goes for the tabletop- it is a plastic and it will get scratched if you throw your keys and forks and crap on it. If you're 300 pounds and plop down on the seat each day it is going to eventually give. If you have kids using this table it will get scratched. Just use your common sense and it will work! Our tabletop is perfect, we just use coasters and we wipe it down after using it. Takes two seconds and is the difference between a damaged tabletop and one that looks far more expensive than it was.This set is a hit with everyone who visits, and it's a great place for two people to dine and chat over some food. I feel that I got more than I paid for, which is the hallmark of a good bargain. Love it!

Received my set in a very timely manner. Did a general overall inspection. Looked good. !!!!(Inspect with all material removed.)!!! Started assembly with the stools and then the table frame. Completely uncovered the table top and found it damaged to the point that I was concerned. I don't let many things bother me. I e-mailed and got a response to take photos of the damage and the labels on the box to send to them. Took some photos with a friends camera. He was going to send them to me so I could respond to my e-mail. I then threw the box away. Photos didn't take. Took more photos. No box pictures. Left town. Will soon be trying to get the situation fixed. Curious to see how it works. Loved the looks of the set. Very nicely padded seats. One was bent out of round. No big deal. The top was fractured enough that the laminate was cracked and protruding. One small piece was completely missing. I hope that once I get time to finish dealing with the company, everything will be taken care of. Am optimistic but not hopeful. Will change my review when all is done.

Nice set for sure but it was damaged during shipping or quality control is lacking at the manufacturer.Either way, they are sending us replacement pieces, will update when they arrive undamaged hopefully

Ok so first I would like to say that I literally had buyers anxiety for days before I took the plunge and ordered this set. It arrive today I immediatly started putting it together tonight and WOW it's a GREAT set. Really a truly. Looks amazing! I would also like to add that assembly was so easy and feel like I saw quiet a few reviews stating the directions made no sense and assembly was a pain in the ass. There is no way. I could have put the together with no directions. Anyone who has put any type of fortitude will find this extremely simple. Minimal hardware and parts. Nothing was missing or broke from shipiIlungf

This set could have recieved a 5 but for the substandard instructions that came with them. If you tend to use the pictures to assemble be very careful because it does not depict a difference between the round screw heads and the flat head screw heads. If you do not seperate the screws before - hand by size and letter assignment you could very easily have a brand new table top with four screws jutting out the shiny black surface like I did. If I had known about this deficiency I would not have paid someone 20 bucks to assemble it, I would have done it myself. So in recap be very careful with assembly due to inaccurate picturing and the fact that there is no metal plate in the table top to prevent the longer screws from going through the top. Other than this it looks nice and the price was nice as well.

I ordered this product on line basically based off the reviews. It arrived in a timely fashion and although the box was a little beat up= it was packaged well and there was no damage. It looks GREAT in my kitchen and is DEF worth the price. My only complaint would be that the directions were like reading another language at best. Fortunately I had someone put it together for me because there is no way I would have been able to figure out which screw went where... (nothing was labeled on the screws). The reviews did say "easy assembly" so perhaps I am just not too keen on assembling products. Regardless, I love love love this item and would highly recommend!
