Humco strong iodine tincture 7% mild usp - 1 oz

Hard to find 7% iodine. Use it to remove pre-cancerous spots on my hands and arms. Just apply ten times for a week and they will scrape off. New skin will be underneath, afterwards. This tactic, sometimes, leaves a permanent spot behind. Sometimes the pre-cancerous lesion will return; but will also go away again if you apply it again.Because it sometimes will cause the spot to become a permanent dark spot... don't use it on your face in this manner. It always works on pre-cancerous lesions, however. I had one that looked just like melanoma on my back, bloody looking and sensitive. Disappeared just like all the ones on my arm disappeared. As I said, there are now flat discolored patches where some of the lesions used to be (and some regrow... but can be peeled off without even using 7% iodine, even).This process also works with the regular iodine that you buy in a Frys supermarket, however. Had a red rash on my nose area which had spread to my eyebrows. Applied this ten times-per-day and it completely removed that rash (used to look like psoriasis or exema) without ever leaving any dark spot. Might have been a deeply-rooted yeast infection. Gone now. Did the same thing to an itchy place on the right side of my balls. It is now gone and didn't return.

While the bottle was not sealed - I am not sure if it was supposed to be. It is nearly impossible to find 7% Iodine so I was thrilled to come across this. I don't like the applicator but the applicator from my last bottle of tincture of iodine works in it so I just switched them!My DH almost 97 and it is difficult to get him out of the house to a dermatologist - I read in other reviews about using it on pre-cancerous cells. So I bought this and it really is drying out the pre-cancer on his skin! He has a nasty "blood blister" on his foot from Lymphedema and it is drying that out too! Iodine is way better than surgery if it works!My Lugo's Food Grade Iodine is only 5% so I was really excited to find this - and will buy again when needed.This iodine smelled just like the other iodine I have so I don't understand the review that said it didn't smell like iodine? Truthfully, all I smelled is the alcohol in any of them. :)

This is the stuff Dr Sircus was talking about. Here's the thing; I wanted to try to eliminate basal cell carcinoma. So after my biopsy was confirmed, I started with this and baking soda, vitamin C, the whole nine. It did waa what Sircus said; burned like hell and formed a scab. You're putting strong ass iodine on an open wound (after biopsy), if it didn't scab it would be weird. But my Moh's was in a week. The wife was worried I'd mess things up so I quit early and put some Eucerin on it. The scab fell off in a day and a half with Eucerin. Anyways, when I got to surgery, I realized something; the doc didn't retest me, he simply cut the area out. Then the lab looks, sees no more cells past the cut area, and says ok you got it all. I get stitched up. So all in all, there's no way in hell to tell if the iodine did Jack squat. The only way to tell, would be to cancel the surgery, continue with the homeopathic treatment, and then go back later for another biopsy. At that point, You're effectively getting cut again just to find out if it worked. If it's worth all that to you, go for it but I didn't have the time and patience and it was my first ever, on my face, and I just had too much on the line to risk it. So maybe next time, but hopefully there won't be a next time.

I bought this product for two purposes, to kill a small skin cancer on my chest, and to remove a mole on my shoulder. This stuff is strong. It was successful at killing the skin cancer. I had another one a couple of years ago which was squamous cell and decided I did not want to get this one cut off. It took a few weeks and the cancer is gone. Within a week or so I could see two small white spots which I have read is the cancer. Eventually the skin was raw and appeared to be gone. But I may have done it a bit too long as it did leave a bit of a scar. I am now using RetinA to get rid of the scar and seems to be working.I had a skin colored mole on my shoulder for years. It was not cancerous but I was sick of looking at it. It is much smaller in size but it is still there. I accidentally spilled most of the bottle of iodine in the sink so I ran out. I am ordering another bottle today so hopefully in the next few weeks, this mole will be totally gone.I also put this iodine on an old age spot on my hand. After a few days, a scab appeared. I pealed off the scab and there was pink skin underneath. Most of it is gone but I will repeat this process until it is totally gone.This is a great product but it will leave orange on your skin so I wouldn't put it on your face. I did buy some of the iodine without the tincture but it smells awful and I don't think it works for skin cancers I have read.

I used this product to remove plantar warts. After a couple of tries with the dermatologist, which only caused the plantar warts to multiply, I tried ACV with little success. I then thought 'why not iodine - it is used as a an antibacterial and antiviral in cleaning wounds.' It took about 6 weeks painting it on 3 times per day, but they are gone.

Another hard to find, useful item. I have my own home-rememdy uses for this stuff, and I feel horribly frustrated when I can't buy such ingredients. I tried decolorized iodine, but the PTB think we shouldn't have that, and it's so full of ammonia (as a denaturing agent) that you gag on the smell. So this is the product of choice. Glad to get it.

This iodine is nature's miracle cure for basel cell skin cancer. I followed the instructions of a doctor who uses it - many have them surgically removed and they grow back.

I read it gets rid of skin cancer ,it did seem to work . It may have made it go inside , but it looks clear now. I wish it wasn’t orange so I could use it all the time .

This stuff works like a dream. I'll buy it again. A little goes a long way. I noticed on some areas of my skin that my body is too sensitive so I can't use it there.
