Review: These are the ones to buy - Not all badge clips are the same. Seems like a simple product but there are some that are not worth the money. I purchased these a year ago and was very happy with them. When it came time to reorder, I assumed all were the same and purchased another set on desertcart from another company. **Q: Can you remove the plastic portion of the clip? When you remove it does it leave a hole you can use to thread the clip into some string?**
A: I'm sure that you could remove the clip which is riveted to the plastic tab.  This would provide a hole that you could use for a string.

**Q: How loose is the swivel portion of the clip?**
A: They are sturdy enough to swivel... not flimsy. I have found them to be of good quality.

**Q: I want to use them outside on our deck umbrella. Will they rust easily?**
A: They rust but not easily I put a cord across my front porch then hung signs on them during the pandemic of me not able to do much more to help this past year

**Q: Can you snap and unsnap the button to change ID?**
A: Yes, you can snap and unsnap to change ID. Great value

I use these with children and teens. They are pretty hard on them... sometimes I think the kids think they are a fidget spinner. They do NOT last if manipulated much as in fidgeting with them. I do have to replace very frequently. But that seems understandable considering the kids mess with them a lot.
