Love the projects in this book. I'd like to make every one. Simple artistry, easy instructions and full details of the decorative stitches she's used to embellish. It's a great book for the beginner that wants to work with wool.

Patterns are cute but you can’t download them to use them. EBook is useless. Just buy paperBook.

This is fabulous book! Just my style! I have read through the first one I want to make and see no problem with the instruction. I will be ordering my wool, etc. very soon. I highly, highly recommend!

Cute patterns and easy to follow instructions. I'm excited to make some of these pillows for family and friends.

I loved this book. The colours are gorgeous and the designs are evocative of times past without being in any way dated. The instructions are clear and, should present no problem to anyone with a basic sewing and embroidery skills.Absolute beginners may need a little help with the ribbon work but, apart from that, anyone should be able to create beautiful pieces. However, the designs do tend to be autumnal in theme but, with a little imagination, the motifs could easily be altered to suit all needs and tastes. I shall look forward to new work from this author. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

This wool applique book (though you could use other materials if you wished) has 8 Americana country style appliques. There are clear instructions and full size applique patterns (in colour) with simple embroidery instructions. A lovely well produced booklet from Leisure Arts - very suitable for a beginner but the lovely designs would tempt the more experienced too.

The cushions themselves are OK but rather repetative in terms of subject. Has a very American 'country' feel. There seems a preponderence of pumpkins, houses and sheep. Ony one pattern shows much variety,with hearts! Even within a small book I woud expect a greater range of subject matter and application.

I a quilter and felter - this book is extremely good but not, I think, for someone who has not made felt or used it before, ditto embroidery. Very clear explanations and illustrations - like it a lot.

Lovely patterns...just need to get them made.
