I'm not a successful geek so when I attempt to order something as simple as this product, I automatically begin the process of signing up for on-line night classes in trigonometry; home improvement quick-fix-it-uppers and advanced network security. And just when I'm about to hit "confirm" on the classes (even though I have no money to pay for these classes)...the most wonderful message popped up in my electronic mailbox. It was a message from the seller thanking me for ordering their product and a promise they would not abandon me if I needed help setting up their product. They told me it would not be difficult and even some reviews confirmed that but believe me if there is a problem to be found, I would find it. You know what? I didn't find a problem; instructions were very easy to follow; quick delivery of the product; I didn't have to sign up for any if those classes..LOL and I had the product set up in less than 10 minutes!! WHOO-HOO FOR THIS GIRL!!!!!!I ordered another one...LMAO!!!

Maybe I don't get the purpose of this but it just doesn't really work in any beneficial way. I give 2 stars instead of 1 only because of the chance that it does decrease the likelihood of losing all signal but I doubt it.I bought because my router speed is about 200-300 mbps (I have AT&T 300 but it really seems to average closer to 200 mbps when I'm near the router) but where I typically use my laptop is the other side of the house where it's around 10-20 mbps and sometimes cuts out completely. I figured a WiFi extender would extend the regular Wifi signal of 200 mbps. Did I expect to actually get 200 mbps? No, but I was hoping for 50-100. It did nothing. When I ran speed tests with and without the extender, it was actually a little bit worse with the extender than without!I didn't try it long enough to see if the signal would ever go out, so maybe it would prevent that, but I didn't care because it's not THAT often, especially not often enough to warrant actually SLOWING down my internet from the meager 15 mbps I was getting.

There is one room in my house, where my current wifi setup will not reach, no matter what I do. I really do not want to go the mesh networking route. This was the perfect solution. There are 3 modes you can set this up as. I chose to make it a repeater. The instructions were clear, which made setup really easy. I was up and running under ten minutes. Now the deadspot in my house is no longer.

Really pleased with my choice for this mini router it has extended my Wi-Fi and now I can watch videos easily rooms apart from the box. It was ship very fast and loved the secure packaging. Would be certainly recommending this to my friends. Very compatable with almost any Wi-Fi. Works around the world to. Thanks so much for a product that works as described.

So easy to set up as a repeater in areas with weak wifi signal. Literally plug it in, use a device to connect to it in your wifi options, sign in to the setup page provided in the instructions, rename it to your wifi and put in password and boom you are in business. Just unplug it to move it anywhere. Great performance and value.

Sometimes, me or one of my kids leaves our garage open and there is a good amount of theft in my neighborhood. To prevent, I wanted to buy a MyQ smart garage hub so I could remotely open and close my garage from my phone and also receive alerts when my garage was left open for more than a few minutes. The problem is that I have a detached garage that was too far from my router to get wifi. So I purchased this wifi extender hoping it would solve my problem. It worked and works great! Super easy to set up and now my signal is strong in my garage and I'm able to successfully use my new garage hub. Great product, especially with the low price!

This wifi extender does what it says it will do. It is easy to set up and easy to use. It is especially useful to get a good wifi signal in places at home where wifi is unstable and spotty at best. I would but this product again. It's definitely worth the money spent.

The instructions were a little confusing as I wanted to use it wirelessly, not connected via a cord to a router. I installed it using the “entertainment mode” instructions which were just plugging it in and setting it up from my iPhone and it worked great, providing a strong booster WiFi signal throughout the house
