I really wish the documentation was better. I think I set up the lock ok, but too many random beeps and lights flashing during the setup. There is no feedback to tell me everything went well.If the reader stops working and I am using the lock on my bag, there is no fall back plan to get my stuff out of my bag. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Keeps a charge and serves its purpose *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2019* It’s a great lock for what it is. This is not the lock to secure your most prized positions. This is the lock to deter others from just walking away with your stuff. The difference between a bike that is just sitting there or one that has this lock. The lock on your gym lockers that items go missing vs this lock so your items doesn’t get gone thru. However the finger print reader has so far been excellent, lock hold a charge well and makes not having to carry another key or remember another code very handy. ### ⭐ Piece of crap! Do not buy! *by T***A on Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2021* This thing is a piece of crap! The battery had lost power and despite charging, it still does not work. It worked well until the internal battery wore out. Stick with a small mechanical combo lock, much more reliable, at least you will be able to get it open when needed. Don’t waste the money on this. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/135381789-dscvr-small-keyless-travel-lock-biometric-fingerprint-padlock-with-cable](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/135381789-dscvr-small-keyless-travel-lock-biometric-fingerprint-padlock-with-cable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
