Does the job..........
I had three toilets to work on - blue stained mineral build-ups of 3.5 years. For 3 of those years we have a water softener in effect, as well. Still......mineral build-up, and staining.I know.....I left it for too long and the problem became so much worse than it should have been. This stone works. It takes a lot of rubbing, and time to get rid of the build-up when it's as bad as I let it get. I did however, get rid of it. I am not stupid enough to think it's gone for good. It'll happen again UNLESS I stay on top of it.I plan bi-weekly bouts of lime-out and scrubbing with a brush. We'll see if that keeps the minerals from becoming stained and ugly problems. If that doesn't work.....then I'll give the industrial (hydrochloric acid) solutions a shot. My hubby doesn't like this idea - since I'm accident prone and hydrochloric acid is dangerous in the hands of the clueless. If I go that route I will become informed BEFORE using it.This stone......it works. Did it scratch the china finish? Probably. I did use it wet, as others recommended. I also applied a paste of white vinegar/baking soda (mixed slowly.....it bubbles and will overflow if added together too quickly). I wouldn't recommend using the stone regularly because of possible scratching-up of the china finish. I'd only use it to get rid of the mineral-stained build-ups and once that is done (where I am at now), I'll do regular work to keep them from forming again. I spent approximately 20 minutes per toilet bowl and used gloves. Now.....the day after all that scrubbing, my hand is sore. In other words; I overdid it. I do however.....have stain-free and mineral deposit free toilets. At least for the next day or two. YES, I have a water softener, as well and STILL it happens. Nothing like keeping a person enslaved to housework. Go me.

Great buy
I’ve been using these for a very long time. I clean toilets for a living. LolThese ones are great! They don’t have the worthless little sponge on them,With sticky stuff. The ones with sticky stuff are a pain in the ______.So glad they figured that part out!Highly recommend.PLEASE DONT EVER USE THE PUMIS STONE THAT WALMART CARRYS.(It ruins the enamel on your toilets.

Cleans those pesky stains, but still needs elbow grease
I have very hard water, and my toilet had those pesky hard water, calcium & lime build-up stains that even Lime Away and CLR wouldn't remove. Not that this is the Holy Grail of bathroom cleaners, but it has worked better than anything else I've tried. You still have to put a lot of elbow grease into the job, and the stone, being hard, doesn't fit well into the area of the toilet bowl under the rim towards the front. I wish it was pointed on one end and I think it would work a little better in those areas. Works well on the ceramic shower tile also, except for the grout lines.I do really like that this product is non-toxic, since I have cats that like to play in the bathtub and I'm always afraid after cleaning with chemicals that I haven't rinsed well enough. I don't worry with this, rinse the grit away and it's good.

Disappointed.
This product was advertised as having a sponge top. I already have a Bathroomstone that has a sponge top a love it and that is why I ordered this one. A picture showing the stone with a sponge top is even on the advertisement. Haven't used stone yet but wanted you to know you need to have your advertisement match what you are selling...TRUTH IN ADVERTISING...

Finally a product that works!
We have VERY hard water and my toilets constantly had a nasty hard mineral ring (new house and rings within a few weeks.). My toilets look sparkling clean and only have to use this stone once a month. Pumice stone is soft and will not scratch, down side is they do dissolve after a short time. I used to be able to get this brand at Walmart and lowes, but they no longer carry. I have tried several brands of these "toilet stones" and this one works the best. I would give the product 5 stars, except the price is rather high.

Very satisfied customer
This is the only product that leaves my bathroom tempered glass door squeaky clean. It works well on tile as well. Love it! I recommend that you give it a try.

This works
I had a build up around the water line, a few years of hard water. Tried a lot of stuff to get it off includding a lot of hard scrubbing and nothing worked. I was ready to look into buying a new one. Saw this and figured for under $20 bucks what could I lose. It took about 2 minutes of light scrubbing to remove the entire ring that I could not get off before. I also read reviews that it scratches the bowl. I do not see it and it does not seem to hold 'dirt' which you would expect if it was scratched.

Wrong picture for stone sent.
The stone pictured here is fantastic. Unfortuanly , they came plain and not as nice as these. This has happened twice and the picture is wrong.I have used these for many years and know what I want. Since it had happened before, I zoomed on the picture to make sure it was the right one. I will keep these and use them, they work great also, just not what I was lead to believe I was ordering. The small brochure included even shows the one with the sponge.
