Citizen Men's BL5470-57L Stainless Steel Eco-Drive Watch

I have been getting compliments on this watch ever since I have started wearing it. It's a little bigger than I thought it was going to be, which is why its catches the eye so quickly. This watch has become my daily wear. The only thing that I don't like is that the controls for the setup of the watch is a little convoluted, almost bordering on laborious. Other than that, it works great, is very stylish and is the best watch that I have ever owned.I'm sure there are better watches out there, but I'm not willing to spend more than $500 for a watch. I may be missing out, but this is all the quality that I need. I highly recommend this watch.Note: I received a defective watch at first and had to send it back for a new one. The first watch I received, the minute hand did not work at all. The second one that I got has worked perfectly.

$300. Unsure why I had a promotion of $30 off for the watch but anyway, so it came out to $270. I should have checked Costco first but I didn't have money to get the watch anyway. I used the Amazon Store card. Plus, if I pay it in 6 months, I won't have to pay interest.The watch is very nice and classy but as others said, it takes getting used to setting it. My bf's Seiko watch got stolen and I wanted a similar looking watch, one that was just as heavy and bulky. I think this one is a tiny bit heavier, better quality. It is a lot more expensive but I got a good deal on the other one.The last watch we took it somewhere to adjust the links and paid $10-15. Amazon recommended a product that you can adjust the watch yourself, a toolkit. It was only a few bucks so I got it even though I doubted it would be a success but my bf actually succeeded. It didn't seem hard at all.My bf is super happy with his watch. No complaints yet. He only had it a few weeks though. But I'd definitely purchase again. Batteries not needed!

This watch REALLY tore me in half. On one hand it looks fantastic, and has a crazy array of features, a solid bracelet, and excellent lume. On the other hand it has a fake (fixed) diver's bezel, and the second hand is as erratic as any I've seen on a quartz watch. Sometimes it would be dead on the second indices, and two or three ticks later it would be almost halfway in-between. I sent it back, but it was a serious struggle to do so. At the full price, it's a no-go. But if you're not as OCD as I am, it's an absolute steal at Warehouse pricing.

I wanted to like this watch, I really did. I have about 2 dozen watches, various prices, colors and styles, and this would've been a good fit - something I don't have yet. To be totally honest I purchased this as an Amazon Certified Warehouse deal, but Amazon guarantees it's as good as new functionally. First, it didn't have an instruction booklet. No big deal, just look it up online. The watch has date, hour/minute/second hand, perpetual calendar and a dial at the bottom which you have to set first depending on what you want to do - set alarm, set time, timer etc. Anway, I tried to set the watch per the online instructions (and there's a video which I also tried) but no luck. They then suggested to 'zero out' the watch, but that didn't work. Then I tried charging it (it is solar/light powered after all) and left it in full sun for 4 hours. Tried everything again and nothing, except now the minute hand would spin on its' own when you tried to set the watch. It's supposed to stop when you push and release the top button, but that did nothing. I thought it had plenty of power after being in the sun for 4 hours (online it says that when fully charged the watch will run for 6 hours without a recharge) but I put it under a counter top light for 4 more hours and tried everything again. Still no luck. It's now on it's way back to Amazon. I would've given it one star if I'd have purchased it new, but since it was a return already I'm just guessing that whoever had it before me may have experienced some of these problems.

I had been looking at this watch for awhile since I like it's fairly simple design and clean contrasting clock face. I was hesitant to buy a several hundred dollar watch online so of course I went to see it in a store. After that, I bought it on Amazon within a few days. It is a stainless steel casing and band so it does have some weight that comes with that. But the watch itself is a really nice looking, high quality watch. The printed instructions were a bit hard to follow for setting the perpetual calendar. I ended up watching the video online which is MUCH more straightforward and you can get it set in only a few minutes. HIGHLY recommend the online video rather than the printed instructions. The only small complaint I have is the date can be a bit hard to see since it's small, but everything else about this watch I love.

I bought this for my husband. His last watch was lost while in the pocket of a jacket that was stolen. Why was his watch in his pocket? He was carrying it around until he got to the store for a new battery! As I often did with my own watch. Therefore I decided it was time we switched to Eco-Drives. No more dead batteries!The set up for this watch was extremely difficult. Maybe I should take away a star for that. Even asking "watchies" we knew to set it up was no help. But he finally got it programmed correctly and he loves it.It is a beautiful watch. The size is of the current, bulkier style, but it's not huge. It looks sporty enough for every day where, but sophisticated enough to wear with dressier attire. We are very happy with the purchase.

This watch looks better than in photos. I uploaded some pictures of it. It fits very well in my hand, I am a middle tall. I was doubting because I wore another Citizen watch that has a 35 mm case, this one has 43 mm and looks fantastic. I wear this watch with casual clothes and outdoors.Watch configuration is a little complicated at the beginning, you need to read manual to correct configuration, perputual calendar configuration is a bit tricky.Luminous numbers and hands are outstanding, It looks great at night.I really recommend this watch.

Even though I just bought my watch, this is my second Citizen watch in 10 years. The image displayed doesn't do this watch justice.It's a little bit darker, both the dial and the casing, which, in my opinion, looks way better. Can't wait to adjust the band to fit my wrist.It has everything you could need in a watch and then some. Easy to operate and looks awesome in a business suit or just swimming in your shorts.

This is a great watch. Easy to read even without my reading glasses. The quality is great. For sure next time I need a new watch Citizen will be the first watches I will look at.
