Ease of use is 5 stars. Lay them down and that's it. Do they work? If I could give negative stars I would. My cats actually lay on the things like they're back scratchers. So, I guess if you're looking for back scratchers for your cat these are perfect but for keeping cats off of things it's dang near laughable.

My neighbors cat just walks over it. I have applied it all over my fence, which has slowed the beast down, but she gets over it just fine. I laid it around my lilac, where she hides to ambush the wild birds. I think it is providing kitty massage because she could care less that there are spikes in the ground. It is affordable, but doesn't work on the demon cat next door.

Easy to attach to 4x4's that have birdhouses posted on top! Squirrels, cats and racoons are deterred from getting close to my birds! This is the best solution I've ever found ♡ I have over 30 birdhouses, with birds using them in every season. Their sanctuary is finally protected like never before, highly recommend!

Absolutely awesome product, after almost a year of trying to keep my cat in her patio this finally did the trick. Their tender little tootsies you do not like to touch the pointy little plastic tips. well it's been a week and it was going well until my cat decided she was going to try and walk on them and she did a great job of it oh, right over 2 my neighbor's patio. Needless to say I was shocked to see her tippy-toeing over these spikes to get to my neighbor's patio. I could cry

These are awesome! We just got two kittens and they are super curious. We put these in places we don’t want them to go (behind the television or around power cords or around the aquarium). It doesn’t hurt them, and it deters them from the area. It also works great for when we aren’t around as a deterrent as well.Every time the kittens find a spot that’s just not where they should go, I drop down one of these and it works.

I have 8 rescue dogs, one, and I don't know which one started peeing on the side of the couch. I tried everything to stop this. From motion sensors, to heavy perfumes, you name it; I tried it. I put these down beside the couch, and the next morning I woke up to a non peed on couch! I absolutely love these things.

Unfortunately, cat in neighborhood walk right on top of it.

I spent 500 dollars on 20 boxes of this to catproof my yard. It doesn't deter my cats from walking through the gardens or jumping the walls. We spent hours hanging panels along our cinderblock wall with a hammer drill and its completely pointless. I would return all of the boxes if it was so much work to do so. We also put some mats around are garden and the cats just walk across it. These dont detract cats at all.

I would have preferred that these mats were much wider.
