I have been using this supplement for the recommended minimum of 3 months now. Overall I am happy with the results. I wouldn't go as far as to say the results have been miraculous, but it's certainly had a good effect on my hair. I have fine hair, which I have had trouble growing out due to extensive styling. I found that wearing clip-in extensions caused more hair loss, so i started taking this supplement. Pros: My hair has definitely grown longer. I've been growing it out for a while and it did grow at a higher rate in the past months. I used to not be able to grow it past my shoulders but it's now down to 17-18 inches long. It also looks shinier and healthier. So this is definitely great. Cons: I don't necessarily see a big change in shedding. My hair still sheds quite a bit. Also the texture of the hair won't change. That is if you had fine hair, it's not going to get thicker even with supplements. For good results, I recommend taking these concurrently with using Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner. I have to say I was very skeptical about ordering this because of all the seemingly bogus reviews however I decided to give it a try based on the very few legitimate reviews, I'm pretty sure my hair loss problem is thyroid related but mainstream medicine would like you to believe if your over 50 its just age related and if your thyroid panel is within conventional medicine range then you should just deal with it. I purchased one bottle and took 3 per/day as directed for the entire month and by the 2nd week my daily handfuls of shedding had almost diminished, it was quite unbelievable to say the least, I did not change my shampoo or do anything else different so I can only assume the stuff really works, at least for me. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the cost is very high and unfortunately I will not be able to continue ordering, I'm hoping I can find something similar from my local herbalist that is also affordable.

I had to go online and research for quite a while until I found the correct product for my hair which began to fall out, October 31, 2013 by the handfuls whenever I would comb, brush, or wash it. So tried to do as little with it as possible. Through the useful and informative experiences, suggestions and results of others, I eventually found the product I felt would truly work for me. I did notice a return of my hair for my hairline, which had also started thinning.I have never had trouble with hair growing, just always thin and soft.I did take MAXI-HAIR MAXIMIZED time release (60 tablets) as a vitamin supplement to use by itself at 1st, but it did not stop the hair loss; Neither did the MAXI-HAIR PLUS MAXIMIZED 5,000 mcg Biotin, show any improvement in hair loss. These I both tried before working with the present product. (They are both through Country Life.) They did keep my hair healthy and growing, But growth has never been an issue for me.Since the MAXI-HAIR did keep my hair healthy, I still use the time release along with the Phytoworx Hair Recovery and Regrowth Supplement. This product may be helpful to those with hair loss due to age / death of hair roots, hair follicles, etc.I have always loved to wear my hair down, in a ponytail or braided when I do wear it long. Right now to get the full look, I need to use a volume producing shampoo and conditioner. So, if the hairline can begin to grow back and my hair is now back to just a trickle of strands being lost, then I will begin to look for new growth also.There seems to be hope and I hope I can report back to you later with a report of new growth on other parts of my scalp.

No new hair growth which is to be expected as manufacturer states takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks to achieve. Manufacturer's directions are to take 4 pills per day as well as to use PhytoWorx shampoo in conjuction with the pill regimen. With one $50 bottle providing 12 1/2 days of pills, or $150 - $200 to get to the 4 - 6 week mark of using the product, I personally find it to be cost prohibative to use long term.
