Works as expected.
This did everything I wanted it to. Got rid of the hum from electricity on a turntable. It did dull some of the other sounds, but I just turn the volume up and call it good.

That it worked
I have tried a few other suggestions for getting audio input hum from church mixer out of our video streaming unit. Nothing worked. I had many suggestions including a $99.00 sound suppression unit I was planning on purchasing next. This under $20.00 Radio Shack device brought smiles to my face. Boy do I miss the Shack! Anyway, we have very clear sound now. I highly suggest.

Had an issue with a loud constant humming.
The humming was between my mixer to turn table and DJ Controller to computer. Plugged it in between my devices and it worked right out of the box. Easy setup and simple design.I went with this RadioShack product in particular because it just works. Having spent more on another device that didn't do the job.

Works as described
Only thing I don’t like about this is its round like the second picture, not square like the first. So it’s a bit difficult to mount if you are mounting up in a trunk or somewhere but it works fine.

Not sure it really does anything?
This did not solve my problem.

Humming in your headphones? GET THIS!
Cleared up about 90% of the humming I was hearing when I connected my USB DAC to my tube amp. Does its job and does it well for a decent price. Not the nicest looking cables, but function is perfect for what it's supposed to do.

Fail
Bought to eliminate static buzz in my turntable / preamp / equalizer / amp configuration. Had zero impact. Tried at every point along the route of RCA cables (along with numerous other changes to the configuration, location of plug-ins for each component, etc.).

Kill that 60Hz hum
Having worked for Radio Shack for many years in the 80s, I knew exactly what this product is used for. When I was gifted a receiver and subwoofer that buzzed wildly, I knew this would solve the problem. It did and I’m happy to have a subwoofer that sounds great now.
