Glad I bought this three days ago
Wow! Up $49 from three days ago. I got it for $170.So, this is a beautiful watch. The deep blue face is truly striking. The size of the watch is perfect for my off the rack medium arm, and the bracelet is excellent. I had to have one link removed, and it now fits perfectly.I normally wear either a Rolex or Tag, both of which are heavier and bulkier than this watch, but I always wear a less valuable watch when travelling in Europe. My old Seiko died after 20 years, so this is a replacement. It's way prettier than the almost same watch it replaces, and really carries a style of class that almost matches the Rolex or Tag.This is not a real Chronograph. No moving bezel, only a minute and hour timer, but it does have a 1/5 second minute stopwatch, has the nifty little dials (the babes dig fancy watches and think you must be a pilot), but it is a stunning piece. Not overly heavy, not light either. I don't care about waterproof as I don't go in the water unless it's a bath tub or hot tub and in either of those I couldn't care less what time it is.It does have an alarm function, but it's useless. I can grind my teeth louder than this wimpy alarm. What the alarm function is good for, is keeping time in a dual time zone. You can set the main watch for wherever you are, and leave the alarm setting to your normal, or any other time zone. That's how I use it. Carry a seperate alarm if you need one. The alarm on the watch wouldn't wake up an insomniac.I really like this piece, and won't have any problem wearing it casually or in dress up mode. If you need a good time piece and like the look of a Chronograph, I certainly recommend this Seiko, and I know it will be more accurate than either the Rolex or Tag.Carry on.

Best all around watch!
I purchased this as a gift to myself after my first year of employment, and have been extremely pleased with the purchase every since. This watch looks like it should cost two or three times more. People are shocked to find out how low its price is in comparison to your Breitlings, Tag Heurs and so on.The watch has a beautiful, dark blue face that changes in "depth" when you change your viewing angle, which gives it a really nice look when paired with the understated bezel. Moreover, as someone with small wrists (for a male), this watch still looks great. It is big enough that it "fills out" my wrist, but slim enough that I don't look like I'm carrying a wall clock on my arm.I have also found this watch to be quite durable. I've dropped it a few times, and it keeps on ticking. I only had to have a repair done once, when I managed to break the clasp with a hard fall onto some pavement (whoops). This was easily repaired at my local watch shop. The only downside I have found is that some of the black dashes around the face have come off with time - I think they are painted on as they have come off "clean," leaving no residue. Since no reside is left behind, it still looks great, though it would have been nice to keep them all. That aside, this is a fantastic watch that I imagine I will have for some time. It looks great at work (business formal and business casual), as well as on weekends for a night out.

Buy from Amazon NOT INVENTORY ADJUSTERS they sold me a fake!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had loved this watch when I first saw it and bought it. Unfortunately the seller I bought the watch from (Inventory Adjusters) sold me what I thought at the time was a slightly used watch despite being advertised and sold as brand new. Unfortunately since I spend half my year in the Caribbean and the other half the US for work purposes (hence a lot of amazon shopping) to return the watch from the Caribbean where I was when I opened the package would have been expensive. The watch had already been sized to someone else's wrist luckily the person had a similar size wrist to mine so I didn't need to remove or add links (all my other new OEM Seiko watches come about 4/5 links larger than my wrist). The watch also came without an OEM manual instead just a photocopied page of setting instructions downloaded from the internet. However I loved the look of the watch enough and the supposed deal I got on it bit the bullet and didn't send it back. It was only about a month later I noticed the internal chapter ring was slightly off from the 12'o clock position. Today I noticed the battery had died and decided to take the watch to an authorized Seiko dealer to have the batter changed and the chapter ring issue corrected. Sadly to say I was informed by a senior technician at the shop that the watch was a fake, a well made fake but fake none the less. In the end the watch is a beautiful piece from Seiko for my taste however stay away from Inventory Adjusters instead buy it from Amazon directly.

Prima Uhr
Sehr empfehlenswert :)

I'm not sure
The watch I think is losing time and the secind hand is skipping. Im going to give it a week to see if it still loses time, I check it against my local railway station electronic clock. It's light and looks good, the hands are clear to read and the luminous bits are still luminous at 0500 so thats good as well.

Quite pleased
Good quality watch for the money. Stylish but the dial is quite cluttered so it's not always easy to tell the time at a glance.
