I'm liking this ink so far
I've been using this ink with an extra fine nib on a Pilot Metropolitan and I have zero smudging/smearing. It pairs well with my style of writing and my choice of cheap paper. I'm a fan of this ink and will be hard pressed to use anything else as it works so well.

Bought it just because
I’d bought a sample size through another website. I thought this was fun to just play with. I purchased some demonstrator pens from Amazon to fill with my various inks on hand ( including this noodler’s) and I’m just drawing or writing whatever pops into my head. I just need to find an acceptable black light for travel so I can enjoy this ink with pen more while on the go.

Best ink ever!
My most favorite ink among many I’ve tried.

AWESOME!
Great invisible ink and beautiful blue glow for my artwork!

Great ink
The ink writes well and smooth with excellent water resistance the only complaint i would have is it clings to the sides of the ink reservoir in my pen so it is extremally difficult to tell ink levels without holding it in front of a bright light.

Great ink, arrived safely.
Outstanding black fountain pen ink. After sampling several black inks, this is the darkest black I have found. It is super smooth and reliable even in "dry" nibs, I've never had a skipping/hard-starting issue with this ink. It seems to sit on top of the paper rather than absorbing into the fibers. It takes about 20 seconds to dry (depending on paper) but experienced fountain pen writers shouldn't find much issue with that. It does indeed work very well on low quality papers, from newsprint to box-store legal pads on up to proper writing paper like Rhodia, Clairefontaine, etc. It cleans out of pens and converters very easily. The boxed bottle arrived in a small bubble-wrap sleeve inside a padded Amazon envelope with Fragile stickers. It did not leak, the glass bottle and plastic cap were undamaged. If you need a great bulletproof, water resistant, archival ultra-black ink that will withstand the worst papers... search no further, just get some.

The Buck Stops Here!
Let me begin by saying I exclusively write with an Extra-Fine (EF) nib w/Pilot Pens on generally terrible copier paper (Walmart HP kind of paper). I only recently moved over and tried a TWSBI Extra-Fine (EF) but the jury is still out as I haven't written much with it as of yet. I have tried many black inks from Amazon, I find it is best (safer) when not happy with the ink to be able to return it without hassle. So far I have tried Noodler's Heart of Darkness, Platinum Carbon Black, Pilot Namiki (bottle), Pilot Namiki (cartridges), and finally Noodler's X-Feather. I almost didn't try X-Feather due to the negative reviews and my experience with Noodler's Heart of Darkness was absolutely terrible given the conditions I write in as given above. Heart of Darkness feathered so much on standard copier paper I couldn't even in good conscience take notes. It was extremely dark however, which I liked. Even on Dot-Grid Book brand paper and Cognitive Surplus (FP safe) paper, I made my Pilot EF pens write like mediums. I then tried the Plantinum Carbon Black and thought I had found a solution, but the Platinum Carbon only wrote with little feathering on "some" papers. On copier paper it was terrible but on my son's composite notebooks it wrote beautifully. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I then went back to the standard Namiki cartridges and while I like that ink a lot, it is also fairly inconsistent even when using it in the bottled form. I tried all of these inks in my Pilot Prera, Penmanship, Metropolitan pens.I was about to give up and go back to my Pilot G2 0.38 pens when I figured I would try Noodler's X-Feather, ignoring the bad reviews and I am glad I did! This ink is ALMOST perfect for me. This ink writes very consistently on all of my paper stock with the exception of one such 32lb paper that I use, it doesn't feather when used on it but it does make my EF Pilot nib write like a Western Fine nib. Again, no feathering but quite bold. Overall, I am pleased with Noodler's X-Feather and have now officially committed to it being my daily ink.

It certainly glows but the cap should be made of stronger material.
I bought this ghost ink for journals, art and simple fun after buying fountain and dip pens but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'm waiting on a replacement bottle from Amazon customer service. The first delivery appeared fine despite being shipped in only a bubble envelope mailer. It was inside an additional sealed bubble bag fortunately but the bottle cap was badly cracked and when I pulled the bottle from the consumer box it sloshed ink all over my lap! A friend ran to grab towels so I could sop up as much as I could. This is seriously fine ink because when my friend brought out his UV flashlight and turned it on, I was all aglow. My lap I expected to light up but my hands had it all over them too! I've washed my hands several times and the ink is still there, slowly fading as skin wears off. It truly cannot be seen without a UV light. I can't wait for the replacement bottle, this is a nice quality ink, but now I'm grateful to have ordered invisible! The bottle must have been to the top full which is great but be careful opening these and take precaution of doing so over a safe surface like a silicone mat is my advise because I learned the hard way. There is a huge stain on my garment which is a turquoise blue knit full length lounging T-shirt. It is unfortunately permanently stained which might be good news for those wanting to use this on fabrics. I may order another bulletproof ink for signing checks, it’s pricey but seems worth it. I've included photos so you can see what ghost ink looks like all over me!UPDATED: Got the second bottle ordered from Kaspian store and the cap was even more damaged than the first so Amazon said it will be pulled for damage examination. So I’m disappointed, but have been refunded after an ordeal over this and plan to get more of this same ink as it was purchased to go into a pen I bought exclusively for it. I’m updating my photo to include the second damaged bottle.

Better than Expected - and arrived early!
With a few negative reviews, I wasn't sure if this would work well, but it works great with the black lights that I have. I loaded it into a pen and it flows smoothly, dries quickly and invisible in normal light, but is bright and legible under the UV/black light.

Good versatile ink
I read on a forum that this ink is less likely to clog in technical pens, and I’d been having such issues with a few of the finer-nibbed rotring and Steadtler’s that were stopping me from getting any use out of them, so I bought this stuff. It works! For the last week I’ve been using it in both tech pens and with a dip pen to do illustrations on Bristol board and watercolour paper. I’ve done a lot of stippling with it, which it seems really well suited for.It takes longer to dry than rotring ink, and it’s not quite as jet black. It smells — not a bad smell per se — but I’m not used to being able to smell my work at all, so it takes some getting used to.It’s safe to ink over or use watercolour with after about 15 minutes. Alcohol markers need a bit longer — I tested them once after 15 minutes and it lifted and smeared but the next morning it was very solid.Weirdly — considering how permanent it is on paper — it cleans up off hard surfaces and hands really easily. I found that out because the bottle is full to the very top and I was somewhat distracted when I opened it.It was a good buy, I only wish it was a bit blacker.

Excellent uv fluorescent ink.
Works very well in my fountain pens. Invisible under normal light and daylight. It shines a slightly bluish white under a UV light. This amount of ink will last a few years at my rate of use.Top class product.
