NGK Spark Plugs LTR5IX-11 (Stock # 4344) (6-Pack)

Growing up in the 70's we used NGK as the best spark plug for our motorcycles. If you needed performance NGK was the way to go. Looks like things have not changed.As the photo shows, someone neglected to change sparkplugs in my Trailblazer since new... 170,000 miles ago. I had noticed a loss of power and performance. Erratic and hard shifting of the transmission. A sure sign of a problem in the motor... generally needing a good tune up. After changing out the plugs and replacing a bad coil pack... that just happened to malfunctuon with the new plugs... my Trailblazer purrs like a kitten with the power of a beast. Transmission shifting so smoothly you can hardly feel the shift. And power... Back to what I expected...AND MORE Very pleased with these plugs.I HAVE READ some complaints about broken ceramic shields and arcing tracks. A word of warning OR TWO...IF YOU DROP A PLUG ON CONCRETE YOU HAVE PROBABLY FRACTURED THE CERAMIC INSULATION. IF YOU DO NOT HOLD YOUR SOCKET STRAIGHT UP TO TIGHTEN THE PLUGS YOU WILL PULL THE RATCHET AT AN ANGLE STESSING THE PLUG AGAINST THE SIDE OF THE SOCKET OR THE RUBBER THAT HOLDS THE PLUG WHILE YOU INSERT IN THE PLUG PASSAGEWAY. AGAIN, A VERY GOOD CHANCE OF FRACTURING THE CERAMIC INSULATION OR COMPLETELY DESTROYING IT.SO, KEEP YOUR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE UP TO DATE AND INSTALL REPLACEMENT PARTS PROPERLY. THERE ARE PLENTY OF VIDEOS AND INFORMATION ON THE WEB.BY THE WAY I CHECKED EACH GAP AND ONE WAS OFF A COUPLE OF THOUSANDTHS.NOW IF THEY LAST 60,000 MILES..I'LL BE COMPLETELY SATISFIED.

Use ngk in all my vehicles so far, great results and better throttle response. Highly reccomend!

The plugs arrived quickly and undamaged. Until they burn out it's hard to give them rating. If they last 100,000 miles great. Will not know that for years to come. So my rating is based only on shipping and fit.
