Attach positive from 12v battery to end terminal of the adapter and negative to one of the side metal brackets of the adapters. Easiest thing would be to attach a female cigarette adapter to the battery with a fuse and insert the light’s male adapter in. These female sockets with fuses are available on Amazon. Alternatively, you can cut the adapter out entirely and solder the light’s red and black wires to a switch; I did this and attached the lights to my son’s go kart. I did keep the fuse that comes inside the adapter and kept it inline with the supply positive connection, though.
