Review: Sturdy and roomy - I’m glad I purchased this deck box. It was rather straightforward in assembly and took less than an hour for my husband to put together. It is roomy inside so I have plenty of space for cushions and other outside items, although I have not tried to fit the umbrella inside yet. Top is indeed sturdy enough for someone to sit on, but I recommend staying under the maximum weight limit if you use it for extra seating. Water does pool on the top, so be sure to wipe it down before opening the lid or water will get inside from the gap at the back of the lid. If you wipe it down before opening the lid, no problem. Things do stay dry inside with the lid closed, however.

I’m glad I purchased this deck box. It was rather straightforward in assembly and took less than an hour for my husband to put together.
