Good Equipment and reports but much too expensive for residential usage
Excellent equipment and reports. I have run the product for 3-4 years with no problems. Unfortunately, the cost of the equipment and monthly subscription cost has far out weighed the amount of savings gained by utilizing the information received which sort of defeats the purpose of owning an energy savings device. I did not renew the subscription this year and without it there is not anything you can use the equipment for since it doesn't interface with leading Home Automation software like Brultech GreenEye Monitors does.

Doesn't make financial sense and not supported very well
I've had the unit for over 5 years now, and it worked great and provided useful information that pinpointed an issue I was having in my home with my heating system, but I haven't used it since the initial monitoring period ran out as the annual monitoring fees don't justify the cost. However, my electric bill has been creeping up and I wanted to renew my monitoring subscription so I could see what was going on, but I am unable to verify that my hardware is still working properly and am unable to get support. My phone calls go unanswered (get pushed to voicemail with no callbacks) and filling out their online contact form gets no response. I can see the gateway device on my network but am unable to connect to it (wondering if it's a Windows 10 thing). I need to update the password in the gateway to my latest network password but can't do that if I can't connect to it. I've spent hours and exhausted all my troubleshooting skills on this one and there isn't much info available online. I don't think it would take much effort from their experts to figure this one out but they're not responding to my requests.

Great monitor... worth the price??
Works as advertised. Easy to install in under 1 hour for someone with home electrical experience (have you replaced or added a circuit breaker to your panel before)? All components labeled "Made in USA."Has whole family hooked on watching energy consumption as we turn on & off lights, oven, stereo, etc. It helps identify items that you never think about like chargers that are easy to unplug when not needed. We have already figured out ways to save about a $1/day.Considered buying a whole house monitor that attaches to our electric meter but wanted to easily track multiple appliances and see when/where the energy is being used. Also looked at smart outlets, but these did not give the ability to monitor 240VAC loads like range/oven, central AC, clothes dryer, electric water heater, etc.Would give it 5 stars for performance, quality, expandability, ease of install and customer support, but 3 stars for price. After installation, you pay $173 for a 2 year service contract to see your usage data from the company's web app. For the price, at least the first year's monitoring service should have been included. The IOS and Android Apps are both pretty clunky. The monitoring site seems to only have it's full capabilities when accessed from a Mac or PC with Adobe Flash installed.Despite the quick savings one can observe with the eMonitor, these are mostly common sense things that you don't need an eMonitor to tell you. Basically, turn off your lights and electronics when not in use. And since your lights are a major consumer, switching to CFLs is an easy way to see some savings. What the monitor really gives you is a reminder and a video-game like feel that gets the whole family into making sure they turned off their lights and closed the refrigerator door. We are hopeful that the long term monitoring of trends will help us make smarter choices in our appliance purchases for long term savings.Bottom line - great product. Depending on how big your house is and how energy conscious you already are, this product may or may not pay for itself in a couple of years. For us, it will definitely help us break some bad habits. No regrets on this purchase.

Great hardware/interface, but ongoing fees/costs unreasonable
Little has changed on this produce since Todd Knapek's 2013 review. As other reviewers have pointed out...excellent hardware, data, and user interoffice. But ongoing annual subscription is totally unreasonable for the average residential user (currently around $200 *per year* if you get the renewables package like I do for solar). If you spend much time on their website it's clear that their interest/focus has shifted to commercial rather than residential users who can perhaps more easily justify the ongoing expense. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they dumped the residential product/service entirely...hopefully those of us with an investment in the hardware can find a way to use our data...

Issolate power usage
Effectively shows youpower usage per circuit with a great web interface. Slightly expensive but it can easily help you find where you are wasting money each month on electric. After two months weve issolated three major inneficiencies and with replacements and upgrades weve cut our monthly electric bill by $154/month and can see how to further reduce it another 55$.Had some reliability issues with the default wifi connectivity, but their support was very quick in changing the units FW over to ethernet, and no issues since.

Awesome hardware, terrible support
I have three SiteSage installations, and the hardware, when working, is excellent. Great information, useful alarming, and detailed reporting. HOWEVER: Buyer beware, if you have hardware failure/trouble, support is non-existant. I've made 8 phone calls and opened two online cases, with ZERO response to a failed gateway report. So, I now have a $400 brick. Come on Powerhouse Dynamics, support what you sell, or don't sell it.

Product is not worth the money spent on it and the subscription.
Equipment is expensive and product subscription is expensive and I cannot keep it connected to upload my data! Customer service is extremely slow if they EVER get back to you... I would not recommend the product to anyone.
