Sunlite Schrader-Presta, Rubber, Rim Hole, Adaptor

The bullet point on the product now says sold individually. When I went to order it did not say this. I relied on the answered questions. One of the answers to the question said these were sold in pairs. Not the case for me. I only got one in this order. One. Not sure Im really gonna go thru the whole process to buy another. Why would you sell something that is clearly meant to be a set as only one item? Not to be too picky but I find that frustrating. To the parts bin just on principle I guess. Not happy. My fault perhaps. I don't need one, I need two. Little rubber grommets sold individually. Huh.

The rubber is a bit soft and works well on wheels requiring less pressure. My application required higher pressures on a double wall rim, so the rubber deformed a little and only protected the first wall in the double wall wheels. Ended up using these on my son's mountain bike with single wall rims. Works perfect! So hopefully anyone looking to buy these know their limitation and designed use. 1. Preferably on single walled rims, and 2. on lower pressure tubes.

I purchased these and they arrived promptly. I am excited to be able to have my schrader cut rims versatile with presta valves! Also, I believe these are sets for the rims and not single adapters as I ordered 4 and received 8. I saw in another review the person received double as well. I still would order as single though as to not confuse anyone just in case, it shouldn't be a problem as they are inexpensive and a good alternative to having the ability for either valve stem for your rims. I ordered these rubber ones as I was cautious to get the metal ones for concern of the metal ones pinching the inner tubes causing potential flats. I am very happy with my purchase.

Converted to Presta valves from Schrader when I changed my tires and tubes.Worked great! Have aluminum double wall rims with a ridge like a roof.Leveled out the surface for Panaracer converting nut to lock the valve stem down.Filled in the gap real nice between the old Schrader hole and the new Presta valve.Did not have to remove the tire/tube to install on my rims. Let most of the air out then just tucked it in carefully with a small screw driver.Not saying it will work for every case but it did for me.

It may not seem like a big deal to have two different types of tubes in your bikes...because it's not. Standardizing all the family bikes to presta valves from the mix of presta/schrader lets me carry just one pump/inflator and makes trail side maintenance easier for me. This item keeps the valve area of the smaller presta valve from being rubbed through at the larger schrader opening on typical kid bike rims. It's a small problem with a small inexpensive solution. I ordered about 8 of these and the seller just sent me an envelope with about a dozen, so now I can share.

Even though the product description says sold individually, I ordered two and received four rim hole adapters. I'm not exactly complaining about getting a possibly extra set, but I do think that the product description should match what you actually get. Right now I feel like I spent ~$4 more on little pieces of rubber than I needed to, which is quite a lot!Over all though, they fit as expected and work as expected.

Exactly what I needed to use presta tubes on my tadpole-trike rims originally set for schrader valves. This at least allows me to avoid carrying two different sets of pumps and tubes when I ride with my spouse who has tubes with presta valves.The alternative was the cludgy fix of putting in presta tubes with the valve nut on the inside of the rim. This is a far more elegant solution

Pricing on this item is very trick!!!when i bought, it was some cents, with expensive shipping. But adding more than one resulted in less shipping. I ordered 8 and the total was $9! I didn't even noticed i was getting 8 pairs. i knew it was expensive more than $1 for each, but paid for the convenience of not having to walk to the bike shop. was pleasantly surprised to receive 16 instead.now they changed the price to a flat rate... ordering the same 8 pairs is almost $40! pay attention.
