**Q: Maybe this is a dumb question but why are there 2 inputs and 1 output?**
A: 1 input is from the towed vehicle, the other is from the towing vehicle. The output is to the light on the towed vehicle

**Q: How much does the voltage drop from the input to the output side of this diode?**
A: Not measured, but this type of diode typically drops 0.7V.

**Q: I have light bars on my rack and pods in my bumper for reversing can I use this to turn on all my lights but still only use the pods when I backup**
A: I really have no idea. You must consider just what the diodes do and figure it out yourself. 
Each diode has 2 wires in and one out. The outgoing wire goes to a vehicle light. The incoming wires: 1) to the ‘normal’ source 2) to a new or secondary source. The purpose of the diode is to prevent backfeed between the 2 sources. 
Now with that in mind, can you answer your own question?

**Q: Can this be used to run a led tow mirror light. For a turn signal/marker light? So the same led light can be used as a turn signal and marker light**
A: These items only let power run one direction. If you had your tail lights on and also tried to use the bulb as at turn signal there would be no flash as the light would already be on steady for the tail light. Hope this helps.

Worked exactly as intended. Didn’t use the sticky pads that were on the back of the diodes. Only gripe, too expensive. The clamped metal has stayed in place very well, very intuitive.Used this on aftermarket headlights for 2012 Mustang, worked like a charm
