Review: 2005 Ford F250 CrewCab Superduty shortbed. - This eliminated an irritating vibration my driveline was suffering from for a couple of years, night and day difference. Remember to REMOVE and TRANSFER the driveline alignment shim from the old carrier bearing to the new one. Old one was welded on and had to carefully use a cutting wheel to remove it. Putting it on the new bearing was easy since the mounting bolts went thru the shim and carrier bearing. I gave the ease of installation only 3 stars since it is quite involved and requires a bit of mechanical aptitude to get thru it. Plenty of great YouTube videos on the subject. Impact wrench and 3 jawed puller are also your friends.

A: Based on the application given of a 1995 Ford F250, 4x4, 7.3L Diesel, Dana/Spicer Center Bearing part number 211359x is one of three possible Center Bearings that will fit this application/vehicle. Center Bearings are difficult to determine based just on vehicle application, in many cases an OEM part number is needed to verify the correct Center Bearing. But in this case there are dimensional differences between the three Center Bearings to where you can determine which Center Bearing is correct for this vehicle. Here are the dimensional differences for the three possible Center Bearings that fit your truck. Dana/Spicer Center Bearing part number 211175x has a Bearing I.D. of 1.378", the other two 211359x and 211499x have a Bearing I.D. of 1.574". **Q: Which way does it go in**
A: If you look at just the rubber on the 211359x center bearing the side that has the "rounded portion" in the middle of rubber goes up against the dust slinger which goes closest/up against the tubing. The "flared out portion" in the middle of the rubber should be facing the slip yoke or end yoke. So the "flared portion" is farthest from the tube. Thats about the best way to explained it.
