Good quality, easy to install
Bought this for use on my Subaru Ascent 2021, mostly for using with a bike rack. I have minimal experience doing auto work but can follow instructions. Using a Youtube video, a couple tools I purchased for the job (torque wrench, trim tool), I was able to install this in under 2 hours. Saved myself a few hundred dollars compared to purchasing an OEM or U-Haul hitch and/or paying for installation. Whats best, unlike the U-haul hitch I have on another car, it doesnt sit below the car, which reduces your ground clearance. Instead it replaces the bumper. I haven't found any hard sources that verify the safety of that so that is one consideration.

Great value hitch
The hitch was relatively easy to install. It took about 40 minutes. It fits well with my 2021 Ascent.

Just finished my first trip with this hitch. It met all expectations. The hitch was an exact fit for my 2021 Subaru Ascent. With the help of some u tube videos, the installation was simple.

Ready set tow
The instructions were easy to understand and follow. I love the fact that it uses pre-existing holes and is hidden when not in use. Draw-tite is a reputable company with excellent products, I would recommend it to anyone in need of any towing products

It didn’t come in a box it just had a bubble wrap around it so a lot of the paint was chipped off.

Works but there's wiring issues
The OEM hitch includes the wiring needed for 4 pin flat and 7 pin w/brakes. Far as I can tell no one makes a wiring kit for the Ascent 7 pin for towing a trailer with brakes. If that is your intention, get the wiring priced out first. You may just find out that the factory hitch with wiring is cheaper overall.If you are only using the hitch for non-brake applications, such as a small utility trailer, bike rack, etc, then no problem. Why spend more than you need. Just go in to your purchase with your eyes open.
