Nalgene OTG Bottle Sleeve (Gray)

I bought two of these sleeves 2 years ago for my grade school aged kids. These sleeves were worth every cent. They've withstood my kids daily usage, and they're still in great shape considering the abuse they've gone through for so long. I'm actually back to buy three more sleeves. One is for my youngest who's starting school this year. The other two are backups just in case the 2 year old ones begin to fall apart at some point. I've used these sleeves for three different 20oz water bottles. Two of the brands are by Rubbermaid. I believe it's the 3161 and 3163 chug bottles. The other brand is Jackson by Contigo. Even with it's tall cap, the bottle portion is still fully covered.These sleeves help with keeping the water cold for several hours. What I do is fill the bottle halfway with water and freeze it overnight. The next morning, I'll fill the rest of the bottle with water. Or I'll fill the bottle halfway with ice, and the rest with water the morning of. I live in 80+ degree temps, and after 7 hours, the water is still close to a refrigerated temperature. The condensation from the bottle does not seep through the sleeve, which is nice because there's no water rings, and hands remain dry.

I'm using it for a .75L Camelbak bottle, rather than Nalgene. I was hesitant to buy it because I didn't know how well it would fit, but I am quite pleased with it. It fits really well for the bottle (occasionally I have to pull down the top part to keep it out of the threads for the cap) and is very snug. Getting it on and off of the bottle does require some wiggling, but once it's on, I'm not worried about it.I bought this specifically because I have ice water in the bottle and then it sits on my desk and creates puddles of water. This fixed that problem!

This does work well to keep liquids cold. But, I had it in my karate bag and the sleeve bleeds dye when it gets wet. It ruined my white karate gi with blue stains. Beware! I'm trying to wash the sleeve to see if it will continue to bleed. I'll update this when I find out.

Works great at keeping my OTF bottle from sweating and leaving rings of water wherever I put it down. It appears well-made, and the neoprene is pretty thick--so much so, that my bottle doesn't fit in my car's cup holder when it's in the sleeve. But that's a small inconvenience compared to being able to put my icy bottle in a backpack or purse without getting everything else in there wet! Looking forward to many years of use from this!

We have several of these insulative sleeves for Nalgene bottles of various sizes. All fit the bottles like a glove. For the most part, we don't use the bottles without them. They really insulate surprisingly well and you get the added bonus of reducing or eliminating condensation issues. They can be a little pricey (we are just talking about a water bottle, after all) but I still think they are worth it. They seem to hold up well over time, even with constant use and pulling the bottle in and out to wash them.

I like this sleeve because:1. the neoprene is dense. a lot of sleeve the neoprene is light weight thus torn or have holes easily (I know because I probably bought all of them). The Nalgene neoprene sleeves I bought are all made with dense foam thus more durable and last longer.2. the side seam and bottom are reinforced. The weight of a full bottle can unravel seam around the bottom of the sleeve. I have several that had unraveled. This one is unlikely.This sleeve is rather tight for a Nathan Little Shot but it is perfect for a HydroFlask regular mouth 21oz bottle (see pic). Because of the dents on the Hydroflask's bottom, it is rather wobbly. The reinforced bottom of this sleeve makes the bottle secure standing on the table. I also have a HydroFlask wide mouth 20oz bottle. This sleeve is too tight for it (the wide mouth has a larger circumference). If you have HydroFlask regular and narrow mouth bottle, you would love this sleeve.EDIT:Hydro Flask has a new 18oz standard mouth thermo now. It is shorter than the 21oz I have by an inch. This sleeve will be perfect for Hydro Flask 18oz standard mouth bottle.Also, if you keep a small carabiner clip to the lid, you can clip the lid to the carrying handle when you take a sip without worrying dropping the lid. Often when hiking in high altitude or extreme cold. The mind is a bit muddled. I always worry about dropping the lid with no way of recovering. This sleeve and a carabiner will assuage my worry.

First I must say that it does fit my .75 liter CamelBak bottle very well: snug but not too snug and goes all the way up to the base of the lid. Great product. Carry strap that works. Elastic drawstring but haven't used that yet. Stable base bottom. In case you can't tell, the design is of map contour lines and a couple x-marks-the-spot treasure type marks. Will buy more for my other bottles.

works great, keeps the condensation from making a backpack wet inside. I'd give this 5 stars if it weren't for the price.

Protege muy bien de los golpes, se adapta perfectamente a las botellas Nalgene, pero yo también la uso para otras de cristal. Además como tiene un color discreto vale tanto para llevarla al cole mi hijo como los adultos al gimnasio o para salir al campo. Perfecta para llevarla en los viajes largos y que no se te caliente el agua en el portabebidas.
