Works good on naturally curly dark hair
I got bright pink. This works really well. I tested it a little bit on a few strands 2 times, but once I get the second bottle, I will do the bottom half of my hair for a prank and post a picture. I llooovveedd that it came so much earlier than expected. I have natural 3c hair and saw naptural85's review on it, so I decided to use it. The first time, I just streaked a bit of my hair. I did need to use two coats for it to be noticeable, and I didn't wear gloves as instructed (sorry) so my hands did stain, but not horribly - it was mainly on my nails after 45 seconds of trying to scrap it off my fingers. The second time, I tried it by doing a style I like (the roots are braided for 1/2 inch, then twisted until two inches is left, and the remainder is finger coiled) then applying it to about 7 then taking out the twists out 4 days later. The 2 strand twists were quite easy to take out, but the braids were hard to take out since the chalk really made my strands stick to each other, since I was rushing, a few strands broke off, but not enough to cause concern. It probably wouldn't be so difficult if my hair was shorter or less curly, but it is quite curly, thick, and nearing bra-strap length. The smell is noticeable, but I think it aired out quite nicely by the next day (make sure to blow dry it - I only spent 3 minutes on low heat doing this). For me there was no staining on my clothes, before or after I took out my twists. As expected, if someone isn't closely examining my hair, it appears more purple simply because my hair is so dark, but that's what I was going for. However, it was definitely pink when I eventually applied it all over my hair instead of just on samples. Nearing day 5 of this in my hair, it is still very visible, but I haven't really done anything to it but throw it in a bun. The hair is definitely crunchy feeling the first day, but after I took out the twists, it feels like my hair is just glued together, but not literally because it comes apart easily when I pull the strands apart. The first time I applied it, I tried to rinse it out first after it was completely dry, it did not work. The next day, I washed my hair with mizani's true texture curl balance (sulfate-free) and it came right out without me trying to focus on getting it out. When close up, you can see the little flakes and blotches that make the chalk, but farther away it looks more uniform.I did all the bottom quarter of my hair this time. It was a bit harder to wash out, but most of it was out. I was in a rush when I applied it, so I again didn't use gloves and completely forgot to put on a different shirt. The shirt in the pictures is the same shirt I had on when I applied it. I simply wiped it on the twists and most of the time it was dry one second after being applied (it might simply be that my hair absorbs it faster or something), and if not, I would just hold it a few seconds until it did so it wouldn't stain the white parts of my shirt. My hands were definitely stained afterwords, it took a lot of scrubbing for about 10 minutes, and I still had little pink specks. It got on my floor and sink, and it was hard to take out, but with a little elbow grease and acetone it eventually came off. With that being said, they tell you to wear gloves for a reason. The product definitely has a smell on the first day, but I don't think it has one the next day. I took out my twists very patiently this time and had a lot less breakage, there were a few snaps here and there, but not at an alarming rate. I think thoroughly detangaling is a must if you use this with or without twists. The color was undeniably pink this time, understandably. The orank worked for about a minute as I approached them from a few yards away, but as soon as they got a few inches to me they instantly recognized it was not a real dye, oh well, haha. It was mainly soft and felt like my natural hair when I touched it after the third day except for a few strands that may have been concentrated on more than the others. I actually didn't even get to the second bottle, there was actually still about 1/10 of it left in the first bottle. I wore whatever I felt like wearing the whole week and had no issues. The only stain I got was a tiny little pink dot from when I first applied it without changing my shirt, but considering how carelessly I was putting it on, that's pretty good results, but maybe only the pink is like that. I wore it in my hair for about a week before washing it out. I used a denim brush to get out all the little pink chalk (which now just looked liked a bunch of dots and chunks varying in size). I feel like I had more shedding, it was about the size of my palm (my hands are quite small though) but I didn't go to the mirror thinking I would be bald haha. There were a few dots that refused to get out after the first washing, but after conditioning and washing that out, they seemed to be all gone. Hope this helped haha. Any questions just let me know.

Overall great way to play with color without bleaching!
I watched the YouTuber 4aDaniels review of this product to guide me in the application of the bronze color. SO easy to apply when you put the color in a container first to dip your hair and squeeze the excess out into. I had ZERO mess in my bathroom while applying (okay, there was ONE spec on the floor and a few miniscule specs on the counter I had to zoom into to actually see - easily came off with a light scrub using soap and water on a paper towel). Definitely use gloves. As 4aDaniels did, I lightly moisturized my hair with water, conditioner, and oil to get rid of the crunchiness. Worked like a charm. I didn't use a cotton pad but I might try that or a foundation sponge next time to soak up the excess. It didn't transfer to any of the clothes I was wearing but when I was attempting several different styles and brushed/combed my hair with a little bit of moisturizer and gel, I did notice tiny, miniscule golden crumbles on my hands and comb/brush. It did NOT stain though so all the crumbles went down the drain once I washed my hands after styling. I'm pleasantly surprised with how quick the application was (approx 45 min) and how it came out on my type 4 hair! Hoping it lasts for a few weeks like some youtubers said it did (sans washing)

Works well enough and washes out
We needed temporary hair color that was sure to wash out after 2 or 3 washes. This liquid chalk color dries quickly and isn’t too messy. Wear gloves and brush hair with comb after applying. Looks great!

Used, useless, and a waste of money
Used: Mine came without a seal and contents weight was not 1.6 ounces. It was claimed to be sold by L'Oreal too. So they are either reselling returns for profit or someone else is claiming to be them and sending people used product. Really disgusting either way. Especially as the claim is that it is new bottle. My experience with dark brown hair: This was like putting glittery glue or liquid bronzer in your hair. Slight pearlescent effect. Makes your hair stick together. You will need to have a silicone product on the hair prior to use. Use a shine serum so it won't absorb and willl let you wash out. This will protect your hair too from these highly chemical ingredients and keep it from drying out. If your hair is damaged and porous it can soak up this color and make it very hard to wash out. You will have to use a coconut oil left on for 30-40 minutes then wash with a clarifying shampoo if that happens. Buyer Beware: the more you use the crunchier and stickier sections your hair gets. Any effect you could get by using more only serve to make your hair look worse. If you have dry hair this will soak up and be hard t o wash out. If you are considering purchasing this just wad up some money and throw tin the garbage. You'd be better off and so will your hair! Garnier's- Intense Temporary Color line is the same principle liquid and washes out or fades in a couple of days. Only that product works!

Beautiful highlights on Natural African-American Hair
I have Natural African-American 4a/b hair and the bronze color looked so good with my black/brown hair. I used it to do highlights and ombre the ends of my hair. The color is so vibrant. If you wan the color to pop more, you just had more color immediately on top it while it is still wet. So do one section at a time. I found that if I let it dry and then tried to reapply I ended up with crumbles.I loved this chalk. It washed out easily for me. Even when I re-moisturized my hair with water the color started to fade. After washing it the color was gone.

Good for streaks, but not all over color
(I bought the pink one) So I followed the directions, and it did make my hair pink, but only in certain spots where I put what I thought was too much of the product. I was trying to get a super vibrant pink. This did not happen. My hair is brown and this gave me more of a darker pink. It did turn my brush a nice bright color.Washing made it fade a little, but I get the feeling it's going to be on for a few more washes. In short: use for streaks/ trying out a color. Do not use all over.

Works well on dark hair
I've been looking for a hair chalk that shows up on black hair and finally found it! It's faint but very noticeable in the light. Stays in even after a few washes. Only downfall is it dries and tangles your hair a bit but I notice combing and styling with straightener/curled helps.

The color was vibrant and beautiful
The product works really well on hair , doesn't damage and it doesn't wash away in just two washes .
