Well, I love this thing. I made quite a bit of fruit juices from my apple and pear trees, and canned it, and this was a life savor. The headspace gauge on the side is SUPER. And the funnel base really does keep the jar edges clean. I can't imagine canning without it, and if anything ever happens to it, I'll be buying another as fast as I can. It is not accurate and I had to get a sharpie and a ruler to mark the correct measurement. I was canning with someone who has been canning for many years and she confirmed that the markings are not accurate. It works fine as a funnel, but I wouldn't waste my money on this if you are buying it for the headspace markings!
