Remove tape on top of cartridge.
My printer didn’t recognise the cartridge at first. Then it wouldn’t work because didn’t remove the tape on the top of the cartridge. Instructions were difficult to find, in the bottom of the box. That said all working fine now. Can’t complain about the price. Excellent value for money. So far so good.

Hey amazon my printer dose not recognize this inkMy printer is an Epson Artisan 1430 the seller says it is compatible with this printer sadly I had no success after repeated attempts toget the printer to recognize this ink the. Printer is fully operational when I return the old ink the cartridges register as empty
