ASICS Jolt Men's Running Shoe, Black/Onyx/Black, 7 M US

After spending hundreds of dollars on running shoes, who'd of though shoes under $40 bucks would be my favorites & most comfortable. Not only are they comfortable to walk and run in, but they fit great. Although, not fancy or have all the high tech uppers and evo foam soles or anything like that, They work, get the miles I go after, and they're really inexpensive. I bought the higher level Asic Nimbus 20's for running at $150, long story short, I gave them away. You want something comfortable, help you with your road work, and cheap. Get these, I've already purchased another pair in a different color and I'll continue to buy these as long an they are available, especially in my duck footed size wide,lol

The pair I bought on Amazon were as expected, Great. These were my second pair, after buying the initial pair at JCPenny's. I loved them so much I bought another from Amazon. They both fit fine, and the comfort is really great. I bought 2 pairs to interchange them daily, not wearing the same pair everyday gives them time to air out, dry, and let the foot bed rest. I never wear the same pair of shoes every day. I use thes as walkers, and that they do very well. I also like the all black appearance, it's hard finding an all black shoe these days, especially for work. Highly recommend.

It is a feat for me to find shoes well cushioned enough for me to wear due to a knee & hip condition I suffer from.These are very well cushioned and comfortable to wear.I had to order the extra width because Asics generally run too narrow in the toebox for me to be comfortable.I ordered a half size longer than my normal street shoe size and gota great fit. This is typical sizing procedure for me with walking style shoes.My only concern is that the tread is wearing off the soles very quickly. With very little use, the heels are almost bare already. Asics are usually much more durable than this.

Pros:-It's hard to find good wide fit running shoes, these have perfect width for someone like me who needs 4E width.-Length of the shoes was just as expected.-Build quality is great, the shoes are sturdy yet lightweight.-The price! Getting these shoes for the $33 is awesome, I would have paid more.Cons:-The thin insoles coupled with a hard rubber bottom result in little impact resistance and sore ankles.-The shoes are white and I bought them for running outside so I expected to get them dirty. However they came with light tan colored stains on the mesh over the toes of both shoes. One of the best parts of getting a new pair of shoes is having a clean and pristine pair of shoes even if it's only for a couple of days.Overall I would recommend these shoes as long as you are okay with purchasing better insoles and if you plan on beating them up and not wearing them for looks as they may come stained like mine.

Update: I decided to keep these. Ok, so I am ashamed to wear them with jeans and a tee, I tried them for everyday but couldn't get over what I'll call the "dad sneakers" look. But I took these for a run and wow! They're very comfortable. A little clunky but flexible enough for daily training and the cushion is just right for me, sightly on the plush side but not squishy. These are my new daily runners. I don't know how long they'll last, but for the price, if I get 200 miles, I'll be happy.Also, if you're a 3e/4e and you like or need a wide toe box, these will deliver. I'm a smaller 4e but i need a wide toe box, especially since I'm not willing to give up my injinji toe socks. These are very spacious with plenty of room for my toe splay.-----Original review: From the product pictures I wasn't sure if I'd like them or hate them. But for the price I figured I might as well try them. They fit nicely, have moderate cushion, and they're more flexible than I expected. They're basic sneakers, no bells or whistles. But they're comfortable enough I would try running in them. They're certainly not fashion forward, but I wouldn't be ashamed to wear them with jeans and a tee. And if you're looking for extra-wide these fit like a true 4e. I expected to hate them but I'm pleasantly surprised and I'll probably keep them and use they for everyday sneakers or runners.

There doesn't appear to be any poorly-glued seams between the outsole and body of the shoe.2. Iinsoles are easily removable."The Bad"1. The sizing of the shoe is inaccurate. I am reordering the same product 0.5 sizes up, presuming a 12.5 is manufactured. I would hate to order a full-size up in order to accommodate one particular model from a single manufacturer.2. For a wide width shoe,the space between the lace keyholes seems to be very far apart - the tongue of the shoe is almost completely exposed - odd for a EEEE sized shoe when I am a EEE.3. Slippage and heel fit. The shoe hugs the back of the heel a biit low, naturally contributing to any slippage; however, this could be a sizing issue rather than a convicting, model problematic.

I am required to wear black shoes for work! I am an "asics baby" so finding All black Asics....omg! Score! They are true to fit...I wear size 9 mens and always get mens "D" normal width...which is the equivalent of a women's "W". Since I have multiple pairs...I put in different colored laces so I know which pair im swapping out daily!

When it comes to Asics shoes, you can pretty well bank on that they will be a quality shoe. What I received in the box was a bargain basement shoe that would cause joint pain .Very cheap, but the price is in line with pay for what you get.I did return with little problem, what I did not get was full Shipping costs as promised.My advice, move on and buy Prime only as returning is a pleasure if required.
