I broke my pelvis and a few vertebrae. Now I need something to keep me upright when I walk with my new funny walk. This is an amazing walking pole.It has grips every six inches, so when I need to bend over, or get up from a seat, I can grab it at various heights. It is also rock solid, with no flex to it. It's great for going up and down inclines. I am so glad I bought this instead of one of the fiberglass ones.It does weigh more. I think it weighs about four pounds. Which is about twice what my cane weighed.I purchased two extensions, so it is pretty tall. I think the plain product without any extensions is a little too short. But even with two extensions it was only a hundred bucks and that is less than most of the better fiberglass poles.So if you are recovering from a serious injury, this is the walking pole you want. I didn't buy any of the cool accessories. I may regret that if I ever get stranded in the Yukon Territory.
