Great to spay on new or just sharpened blades and router bits. Re-coating when needed is recommended, don't let pitch build on the cutting surface or you will need to clean before re-applying. You don't have to soak the blade, just a light coat will do. Cutting surface lasts longer also, so you save on sharpening. Also saves on the danger factor, less binding or stress on router bits.
