The Men's Ether DriClime Vest is a just-in-case layer for unpredictable weather. The wind-resistant, water-repellent, and breathable exterior will keep you warm and comfortable without overheating. DriClime® Bi-Component wicking lining pulls away sweat so you stay dry and chafe-free over your cold-weather base layer. 360-degree reflectivity will help keep you visible in low-light conditions. This space-saving vest packs into its own pocket.

My favorite vest for active wear!
This is my third Marmot Driclime vest and I'm sad they've discontinued it. As an owner of many Marmot items, across many fabrics and insulation properties, the Driclime vest is my go-to active wear item. This is a lightweight, very thin vest, not an insulated puffer type vest. There are three important properties to this vest: First, the wicking lining will keep you dry; second, the polyester outer shell will block drafts; and third, the vest design itself will prevent your arms from getting too warm and sweaty. The Driclime liner can be "grabby" to materials underneath when you first put it on, but that annoyance is balanced by how effortlessly any outer layer will glide over the smooth outer surface. In terms of fit, it’s very snug, so if you have a belly, it may not fit. Net, I highly recommend it!

Snug and Thin
Great for under a shell or other jacket. Vest has thin fleece lining and wears pretty snug for a Marmot but this would probably help keep your heat in. It was very comfortable, although snug. It was an XXL and I'm between XL and XXL. It was too thin for my liking sent it back and went with the Craft vest. Really enjoy Craft triathlon clothing and the Craft vest was as good as their athletic line of clothing.

A little too flimsy and sizing is off
I own/ed several DriClime jackets, and when I wanted a vest for general outdoor use, including running, I decided I wanted one of these, but sadly the line is no longer in production. Was happy to find it on Amazon at a decent price. Started by ordering a men's small (I usually get medium in the jacket for arm length), but that was too tight with even a light shirt underneath. Exchanged for a medium, and while it has ample room in the chest area, it felt too snug around the bottom hem and can imagine it riding up. The materials (both shell and liner) are also much flimsier than the other DriClime jackets I've owned and seemed like they would be too easily torn. I decided to just return it and look for something that fits better and with materials I feel more confident in quality and durability. I have a suspicion this could be a knock-off, even though the vests I got both had what looked like original packaging and tags. Just not the quality I'm used to from the many other Marmot pieces I've owned over the years.

VERY LIGHT AND THIN
I WAS SEARCHING FOR A VEST SIMILAR IN WEIGHT TO PATAGONIA VEST WHICH WAS OUT OF STOCK. I ORDERED THIS VEST SINCE IT APPEARED SIMILAR. IT ACTUALLY IS VERY THIN AND HAS NO WARMTH VALUE. NICE LOOKING BUT DOES NOT COMPARE WITH PATAGONIA FOR MY INTENDED PURPOSE TO ADD A LAYER OR WARMTH IN FALL OR EARLY SPRING.

Marmot is cheap and you're only buying a name.
Very cheaply made. Too small for its size and cost too much. I purchased a Propper vest at the same time. It was better made, more comfortable and much more durable. I feel like a fool for purchasing the Marmot vest. I fell for their add and thought it would be a good quality vest... considering the cost of it. It'll be the only Marmot product I ever buy. Very cheap.

Excellent quality. Perfect for layered walking or running when you don’t want to get to bulky.

I really like this vest, warm, comfortable. looks great. however, the vest pocket ripped after one wash. Can't fully recommend due to limited durability.

VERY light weight
As other reviewers advised - this is a light weight wind gullet. Also large fit a little snug on my 6'1" 185 lb frame; not much room for second or third layer. Would buy again.
