From taste I can tell the difference between tap (so gross!), artesian, 'purified', RO, distilled, etc. Because of this (i.e. because it's the purest/healthiest), I only drink distilled water. As such, I was a little reluctant to try adding something to my water, but I had heard good things - so I gave it a go. When adding this to distilled water, it actually makes the water taste purer (if that's even possible). It's like the water has more heft, it clings to your body better, and your body makes better use out of it. Thus it really helps with digestion.
