Lightweight and cute
My garden was recently infested with all sorts of insect pests. I ordered some live ladybugs and lacewings to combat the problem. I purchased this house to encourage them to live/stay in the area. It’s lightweight, cute, and was easy to install. I screwed a metal cup hook into each side and then zip tied the cup hook to a bamboo pole which I had sunk into the ground. I also used 2 bamboo poles on each side for extra support...zip tied the poles together on each side so they wouldn’t move/drift apart. Over all I’m happy with my purchase. I just hope the good bugs like it too!

too shallow
Too shallow. Bees won't use it. Each year we get new houses for the bees and they're half filled by now. This year none are filled. We bought two.

Sooooo small
There is a lot of information online about optimal bug house dimensions. This house is ridiculously small. It’s barely 2” deep. If it wasn’t such a hassle and dangerous, I’d return it.
