Great for the price, but no image stabilization limits your "action" shot options
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I used this for doing slow-motion video and for recording running. It's not perfect for either, but it does offer a lot for the price. When stationary, the video is nice and sharp and well exposed. My sample video had to be resized to 480p because Amazon butchers anything higher resolution than that, but it was crystal clear at 1080p before conversion. When standing still and carefully panning across the scene it's video also looks great. But when trying to hold the camera and run, the lack of motion stabilization is pretty obvious (see attached video). Better to use it on something less shaky, like a hike or a bike ride, I think. Disappointing for an "action camera", but maybe expectable at this price. It also supports slow-motion video: 720p at 30hz, slowed down by 8x (ie original frame rate of 240hz). This is a pretty cool feature, and it's been fun for recording things like the flutter of dragonfly wings or the graceful splash of water coming out of a faucet. Two things though: I wish it was slower (15hz at 16x slowdown would be nice), and at 720p it's strangely blocky; as though it's really recording at 480p and upscaling. Nonetheless it's nice that it can record at 8x forever, something all the slow-mo apps for your phone can't do. I didn't even need a super high-end SD card to support the required bit-rate. I was able to record for about 2.5hrs which is on par with the gopro. It takes stills which might be useful in a pinch, and they are clear and sharp, but no better than a flagship cell phone. In fact there's some duplicity involved - the 16MP photos are no shaper than the 8MP. The true sensor size must be 8MP (or lower?). This is the reason I took 1 star off - don't lie about your specs!More useful is that it has an option to take time-lapse photos (or video), at any frame rate from .5s/photo to 60s/photo. I wish it could go even longer, like 1 photo per 10 minutes or something, but what a great way to capture what happens at a site over a full day cycle. And it's cheap enough that should it disappear, you could buy another one. Never going to take that risk with my phone! Finally, it comes with a never-ending supply of mounting brackets, a waterproof case, and two batteries. Awesome!

Excellent Camera that doesn't break the budget.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I purchased this camera for action footage of my RC model boats and trucks. I did a lot of research online about a variety of brands that would fit within my budget and still provide quality video in wet environments. And the Campark X25 is well worth the price. Well made and very functional, would definitely recommend for someone who cant afford a Gopro Hero. The only draw back to the X25 model is it does not have Electronic Image Stabilization. So far the videos are clear and image quality is great if the camera is held or mounted to watch vehicles as they pass by etc. I think where the image stabilization will come into play is when the camera is mounted on the vehicle where vibration and movement may be an issue without the stabilization. After I have tried vehicle mount, I will update the review. Overall I am very pleased to have an action camera without having to break. I definitely recommend.Update to original review:As you can see from the uploaded video, the image quality and sound is very realistic. You can see from looking at the buildings and parked cars the vibration as the camera was mounted on the body of my Slayer Pro, and the vibration is definitely evident. Overall though this is a great camera for the budget and the only thing needing improvement is if they would have included Electronic Image Stabilization. So if you want image stabilization go for the CamPark X30 which is the latest model. Again, I definitely recommend this action camera. Thanks Campark for a quality action camera that fit within my budget!!

Totally worth it!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Pros:Real 4K30: I confirm that this action cam records at genuine 3840t this action cam records at genuine 3840x2160 “4K” resolution and at a real 30 FPS. Most cheap cams have a fake upscaled 4K resolution with fake 30 FPS. You can tell from the smoothness of the motion and the details of the footage which checks out in this cam.Timelapse: You can record creative timelapse videos like a pro with this cheap action cam. Many resolutions are available and most importantly, at many time intervals, for example, you can make a 2 second interval timelapse, or 5 seconds, etc.. This feature is always nice to have for creativity and fun.Resolution: Other than the sharp 4K30 option, you have many video recording options, such as 1080P at 120FPS or slow motion mode which generates real smooth motion footages.Night Vision: Night vision is surprisingly good. Very bright footage with no noticeable noise. Colors are well saturated, motion is smooth. Well done.Wide Angle: You can never verify the angle in degrees, but it is very wide!Fisheye Correction: I like that at some resolutions, you have the option to cancel the fisheye effect which isn’t suitable for all occasions.LCD Screen: Unlike some cams, it has a built in screen so you always get live feed without needing to install an app in your phone with the annoying lag or delay in feed, which is boring to death.Accessories: Many accessories are included in the package, so many different mounts, brackets and adapters which are compatible with most action cams, except for the waterproof casing of course, it is designed for this action cam. You can mount it on an RC car, your head, bicycle, or whatever..Batteries: I really like that they included two batteries for the cam. A backup battery is always welcome App: You still have the option to use the app for navigation and downloading media directly to your phone without the need to use a microSD adapter to transfer the files.Price: For what it can do, I think it is a very cost effective action cam, I would recommend it.Cons:Dash cam: Cannot be used as a dash cam as it wouldn’t start recording instantly on power. So you’d have to press start recording every time you power on your engine. This sucks.Navigating through the non-touch screen is a bit of a pain for me as I’m used to touch screens. But I managed.
