I use this regularly all year...in the winter I use it to dry my ski boots between days on the mountain, and the rest of the year I use it to dry my scuba diving booties. Keeps my neoprene dive booties from developing the dreaded stink. It breaks down for travel and is dual voltage which is great because I am currently living in Europe. I have recommended it to friends who have purchased it and were equally happy with it. I tried similar products in the past that just did not get the job done. I like the fact that this not only moves the air but it warms the air it circulates as well. The only thing I wish is that the price was not so high as I would like a 2nd one to put my gloves on so they could be drying the same time as my boots. If you're looking for something that will get them dry (especially my GoreTex-lined gloves that are tough to dry) without damaging them from too much heat, this little sucker will do the job very well. If you're looking for something that will make your toes and fingers hot and toasty, find something else and hope you can deal with the potential damage. I've used these to dry gloves, hiking boots and ski boots, and found that they dried in a couple hours (except when absolutely soaked). They have nice attachments for gloves and boots, and the built-in timer keeps them from running all night when an hour or two would do.
