When I first got it, I noticed that the reflector lit up only when it was shaken up and down, but would not light up when it was tapped on or bumped. I contacted customerservice@homebrite.com and gave them the product name and number and asked if they could send me just a working replacement reflector to my address since the stand was just fine. They immediately sent me an email letting me know that a replacement reflector was mailed out to me that day and I received it two days later. The new reflector works perfectly. The stand is sturdy and I didn't need to put any weights on it as other people do. I did outline the corners of the stand with a Sharpie on the garage floor so that it was easy to put back in just the right spot if it was moved. Honestly, it ended up not making much of a difference to me if it lights up or not as it is obvious when it is bumped and the reflector color is bright and easily discerned. This model (77103)  Park'N Place- Deluxe Version with Added Hazard Lighting- Great for Roadside Emergencies  measures 4 feet 4 inches high, so it works great for our car, but if you have an SUV, you might need to get the one made especially for SUVs (77104) ( Park 'N Place Perfect Parking - 62" high ) or put this one on some kind of stand. The end result is no more parking too far to the left or to the right or too deep into the garage.
