Review: Works for birds just fine. Squirrels, not so much. - It looks real enough to keep small birds away, but squirrels are not afraid of it one bit. I purchased it because squirrels tear up my yard and get into my garden, and they do not care at all about this hawk decoy. You would think a squrriel would not want to walk in a large open yard in front of a hawk, but maybe these squirrels are just brave or stupid. I am greatly disappointed that it did not solve my problem, but nonetheless, this is a quality product that is sturdy and holds up in the weather. Squirrels may not care about it, but it seemingly works fine for other small animals.
