This is a short albeit a good book about a modern day yogi, a close relative of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, a revered teacher of the Dzogchen tradition in the West.The book provides a comprehensive account of his life and his works, as well as his ending. Written in an unusual format it gives us a dimensional view of Urguyen's life and yet it is written in a tradition liturgical style of a Tibetan religious works where the main focus of the writing is the realization of the dharma as well as the path to it. Finally the miracle works of the character in question of which as you probably know the Tibetan works are replete with. Whether you are willing to believe in this or not is up to you, but it is very possible that since no one has ever has gone that far with their practice they have missed out on the real gifts hidden within those realms. So, another interesting book on the topic.

A quite interesting story of a man that could reach great spiritual realizations in the midst of extremely adverse circumstances. If someones facing some hardships in life this story might be inspiring. Good luck with reading...

the rainbow Body is Esoteric yoga, for those that need to go deeper into spiritual life, It' good for those that need to balance physical, mental, and spiritual energies. it's a must love it. Thank you Patrick

Fascinated with Tibetan Buddhism it's highly evolved monks, Lama's, Rinpoches, tulku's.Rainbow body/ light body the life of a spiritual master increase my interest in reading more about the practice of dzogchen. Only recommend this book if you are interested in esoteric Tibetan Buddhism.

Quick and insightful read. Hard to rate it other than i think everyone who reads it will take something different away from it.

Not quite what I had anticipated, but somewhat useful as a source of information on a religious life quite different from that most of us see around us in the USA

Even though this is quite short it's fascinating to hear the story of a Tibetan practitioner.
