First, let me praise the seller hitechbay - every single email I wrote to him he responded, and he honestly tried to help and was very fast at his response.The main reason I bought this unit is onvif support, and that I can store the video locally in my NVR/Synology without paying for cloud service; on this aspect, this unit worked as intended.The reason for the low rating is because if you want to integrate this unit with your house's existing chime (mechanical chime in my case), there is a known issue that a single press of Dahua DB11 button will cause the mechanical chime to ring 10 times (a quick search on google will confirm this). This is a known issue and there there is no fix to date. I have a baby in the house and having the chime ring 10 times whenever someone rings the doorbell is simply not acceptable and I consider this to be a flawed product.Another issue I have with this unit is the quick installation guide that came with this unit does not have very clear instructions. I spend a lot time researching online to get this unit to work with my existing chime. To integrate this video doorbell the existing chime, you have to configure this in the DMSS app (shown in picture - integrated with 3rd party chime). Surprisingly, this is not in the quick installation guide and not even in the complete installation PDF guide on Dahua's website.There were also some inconsistencies between the manuals. The quick installation guide implies that chime kit has to be installed to work with existing chime, but the PDF installation guide says only electrical chime needs the chime kit. It is my experience that mechanical chime does not need the chime kit and I was able to get my DB11 working without the chime kit.In conclusion, great seller support, if you want plan to use this unit as a stand-alone and not plan to integrate with existing chime - i would recommend this product. However, if you want to intend to integrate this video doorbell with existing chime, I wouldn't recommend it.

I would have given the product 5 stars but there was a configuration issue that cause shaking in the video every few seconds. The seller "hitechbay" spent considerable time helping to solve the issue. Great communication and he stands by the product. After we resolved the issue, the product works as advertised and I am happy with the result and performance.

Easy setup on DMSS phone app. Same concept of installation as other brands.

Great product, easy setup, the chime box was also a simple 2 screw connection, no monthly fee with the sd card. My only dislike about this kit is THERE IS ONLY 1 ANTI- THEFT SCREW!!!Doorbell also can be powered of a 12vdc or16 to 24v ac transformer.
