As I said in my review, I dropped down a size from what I thought was right. Very tight going on, but once I got it on it worked well. One option might be some sort of adhesive, but didn't want to go that route on a gold ring. **Q: Does this stick on with tape?** A: If you can’t find a size that snaps on your ring you can use the tape which is like a flexible, malleable Gorilla tape and it works well. Mine has stayed on for nearly 3 weeks even through showers and washing my hands a dozen times a day. The adjuster would not stay on without the tape. It would just roll off the ring whenever I tried to put it on my finger. **Q: This ring sizer does not work right.** A: This seems to be more of a statement than a question... I have found they slide around the bottom of the ring and up the side, but other than that I have found they work fine. They have sized my ring down a 1/2 size and the second from the smallest one fit the band perfectly. Is the issue that they don't have one that fits your band? Or do you need more than a half size ( they only down size a half size)? **Q: Does it make the ring a full size smaller?** A: Probably 1/2 size. BUT.... mine fell off within 3 days...so.... I did not use the adhesive tape they supply, though. They are cheap, so...you might try it.
