Don't waste your money
Worked great until it turns out you can't buy replacement filters for the damn thing! I bought two of them. I was able to buy replacement filters in the beginning but now there are no sellers!

Important step to save money on filters
A few pieces of advice & info:I have had the swiffer continuous clean for 2 years now. There was a long period of almost a year where no one was making refills, I was furious. I hand cleaned the filters and would air dry them outside and plug them back in. Finally after searching every week hoping someone would make a knock off and I found these. They are the legit Swiffer replacement came in the original box and works just as well. I was hesitant to buy because 4 filters for almost $35!!! I was in shock, maybe I shouldn’t be, but that seems like a lot. But $8.75 a filter compared to buying just two filters for $11 each is definitely a good savings.About 6 months ago when refills were no where to be found I had my husband cut the senser to the light up part that turns off and stops working when the filter is “dirty”. What a joke, they make the fan stop working bc they want you to buy new filters. That isn’t how the filters or system works, it is a simple machine that the fan pulls dust particles up into the filter. That’s it. Nothing crazy! It works well yes but having a sensor to power it off is just a money grab so people immediately buy $9 filters every month. YES EVERYONE SHOULD DO THIS STEP! Cut the sensor from inside the fan.Every month or two I clean the filter with dish soap in the sink and dry it outside. And I undo the screws to the fan part so I can wipe the blades and grates. I attached pictures of the fan still working with the sensor not plugged in.Also refills are still needed bc you can only hand wash the filter so many times. But at least after the sensor is cut one filter works for a while

Work OK for 3 to 4 weeks but VERY Poor Value, given the price+sales tax...
- Frankly, I find these "micro-chipped" filters to be *so ANNOYING* that I've had the two units in a back closet for a few months. As time went on, they seemed to last for less time, going from about 6 weeks, down to 4, and it was not because our housekeeping changed.-- Originally, I was at least able to wash these filters once or even twice, and still use them. NOW, however, when washed, they do not work. I personally suspect that there is a *timer* in the silly microchip, and NOT any sort of pressure sensor that indicates how much dust has been captured ((since more dust would impede the airflow more, causing more back-pressure inside the filter)).- The only reason I even got the two units was that I had good success with usinga rubber band to hold the Swiffer Sweeper electrostatic cloths on the back/intake side of small fans, and even with attaching some of those together and tying them to the back of larger fans.-- Well, these "filter" things are not the Sweeper Cloths, to be sure. They stop functioning ((meaning, the silly chip "turns off" or whatever)) before they've captured any VISIBLE dust, and, as noted above, they are NOT washable any more, and they are EXPENSIVE - $8.75 for EACH filter, PLUS local sales tax brings it to about $9.46 per filter (and I rounded DOWN!) - for two filters, lasting **at most** 4 weeks ((meaning, 52weeks/4weeks = 13 changes a year)) is:(2 X 9.45) = $18.90; $18.90 X 13 = *** $245.70*** just for the silly FILTERS. AND that is until the price goes up, which it's already done.-- I feel stupid for buying the fan units in the first place. If the company had any decency, they'd at least sell a "workaround chip" so that the fan units would be more than overpriced space-fillers - but I certainly will not hold my breath waiting for *that* happen . . . !!!

Sizes of filter
The size of the filter is much smaller than the original that came with the machine. Is there a larger size than the refills I purchased?

Price could be a bit lower but overall I’m happy with these.
The one thing I like most is the white graphics built into the top of the filter which helps you determine just how dirty the filter has become and to better gauge when it needs replaced. Price is a bit high for consumable filters but hey, you can buy these for the $50 swifter unit or spend a significant amount of money on a high end air purifier whereas the filters are on average $50 a piece.

Very impressed
I have been using these systems in my house for a few months and I am very impressed with everything that the filters take out of air. I have two and hope to add more. Only four stars because the filters can get a little expensive.

Beware - Filter Gouging: Love - Works well, especially with pets!
UPDATED - are Refills are now $35 vs $22 for 4. Cannot buy except on Amazon (not even Swiffer site.) Might as buy a new system since I got one of mine on Whoot for $36.This efficient and simple concept air cleaner/purifier works well. It’s also super cool looking - love the gold/silver color. It’s relatively inexpensive, under $50 (which typically includes 2-4 (+/-) filters based on storefront) that last approx a month each depending on your living area, pet(s) hair, dust, etc.We have two, one on each nightstand - you can use them anywhere you want, they cover a fairly large area, but great for master bedrooms or any other rooms (office, living room, family room, bedrooms, etc.).They really collect dust/hair and keep air cleaner. Love!
