Do you take some of the substance out and mix it in a seperate container for a single use or just add water to your brush and mix it in the container it comes in?** A: Never mix lather in the cream bowl, use any bowl or mug, your free hand, or even the lid. I take my badger brush that's been soaked in the sink, shake off the excess water and gently dab my badger brush into the bowl of cream, you need very little cream on the brush so minimal water gets in, and this is less wasteful than using fingers, I then mix up my lather in an old empty TOBS bowl. From scratch you can whip up a nice creamy lather in about 30-60 seconds. **Q: Can anyone give me an idea of what this shaving cream smells like?** A: I'll add a little bit here, even though some of the answers already have good info in them. I took a look at the "fragrance wheel" on Wikipedia and would say that this is mostly in the "clean/fresh" category, with a little bit of woody and floral thrown in to balance it out just a bit. I'm no expert, but this is my guess...Fresh/Green/Citrus: 75% Floral: 15%Woody: 10%While it does have some florals, I'd guess, it's predominately fresh and balances out into a masculine scent. Jermyn is great to cycle into your rotation, is mild on skin, and overall fantastic and there's a complete line for it by Taylor of Old Bond Street. Really all three of these are like choosing from a Bently, Austin Martin or a Rolls Royce, which one you're feeling like for that week really is the only issue.
