The box itself was bowed inwards and crinkled a little bit. I am unsure if this was due to the handling during shipping or the fact that they are 30 years old. The inside of the box smelled a little musty and had some water stains -- probably from humidity. The wax packs were sealed and intact. I was concerned that the cards would be bent due to the wear and tear to the box. Some of the cards do have some slight bowing BUT none of them had bent corners or indented surfaces. Once these cards are stored properly, I am sure the bend will come out and they'll lay flat. The majority of the cards are pristine looking. As for the cards themselves, I love them. We've all become accustomed to high-definition digital photographs and these, well, are not. They'll take you back in time. I was 7 years old when Desert Storm went down and it is fun to see familiar faces and read about their career prior to 2002 when I became "woke" to geopolitical affairs.
