These same relays are used for both engine starter relay and the glow plug relay on the skid steer. I paid about $37 for one relay at the CAT dealer, while this whole five pack of relays are way less than that. I was thinking these Nilight relays would be lower quality, but now I have a different opinion. I weighed the Nilight relay vs the well used, original CAT relay (sorry for the dirt and dust), and they were exactly the same. I tested one relay with a 9V battery, and they had a very solid, distinctive click when the relay contacts changed state. My ohmmeter confirmed the contacts changed state properly. I confirmed the CAT relay fit into the connector the same as the Nilight relay. It is a very tight fit, but that is due to the rubber gasket that prevents moisture intrusion. The icing on the cake is that these Nilight relays are a straight plug and play, no rewiring required.
