Gemini SLATE 2-Channel Slim Virtual DJ Controller

It works with VIrtualdj, but I thought I would of came with it. Kinda feel like this is a bit misleading.

Getting the Gemini Slate up and running took some time; because my new computer had the new Windows 10 and a new virus protection. It took some time before the techs could get the Gemini up and running, but once they went to trouble shooting--they came out victorious. It took a few updates and some tweaking, but when it was said and done the product operated better than expected. I was overjoyed and very pleased even though I thought it would not work at all when I connected to my PC. Yes,today I am a satisfied customer. Also I am learning many new things the Gemini Slate can do because of the regiment of videos they send about how to scratch, loop, and mix makes this product worth the time and money. Thanks

Love the product but no software but I figured it out

I was able to get it to map it to Traktor and love it. It's so slim that I can put it in my backpack along with my laptop. And it's nice that it does not require an external power source, so it's perfect for gigs where power is scarce.

This works great, took a while to get it working on the laptop because I didn't follow the installation instructions but this works very well

Not too bad at all. Perfect size and lightweight.Hard plastic. (No more metal portable controllers for me) The pads are responsive. Some of the buttons are hard plastic..The pitch range is a lil short but very usable as is. Supposed to be able to adjust the range using a shift function. Its even got slip mode and the slicer function and built in high pass and low pass filter controls.(surprising on this unit).Internal Sound Card. Entry kit for some, just plain portable for me. I still prefer my big rig (Pioneer CDJ set up) but this lil beauty suffices and looks a bit better than some of the other portable controllers to me. Nice and flat looking; the slate Gray ' Oh and the platters are niiiceee. I wish the Slate had an LED marker in the middle of the platters or a light surrounding each for cueing w/o having to look at the software so much. I glance at it usually...so no biggie. The platters are responsive when backspinning, setting cue points and droppin in tracks. So far I like this controller a lot. I hope it is reliable. Remains to be seen.Otherwise, has what you need to mix and scratch some. This unit is for the beginner who ends up getting access to a widely used DJ program (Serato DJ Intro) and benefits from even greater functionality should he/she upgrade to Serato DJ . For the Pro DJ, the same applies yet you might not like the hard plastic chassis, non rubberized buttons, lack of gain control,level metering, xlr connections, ability to use as a stand alone mixer, etc etc...The market for this unit seems to be for the beginner DJ and the Professional who needs a lightweight, portable unit that has not just the basic functionality, but a little more to liven up a set. New to the Gemini experience. Looking forward to it.

This little machine is amazing it comes fully loaded and it works perfectly with virtual DJ 8.2 with no issues. You can mix like a pro with the Gemini slate.

Service I received from the seller was exceptional. Product came next day via DPD who provided a delivery slot within 2 hours.Controller itself is perfect for starting out but also offers lots of features which will tide anyone over for a very long time. Only negative is the small pitch faders that when used with Virtual DJ seem to be quite insesntive but only slightly better with Serato.Best price I have seen anywhere online by a mile, was even a bit sceptical at first but everything was super smooth.
