FX Chips & AMD you can't go wrong with this FX4350 Chip.
Simply put his FX 4350 is the cat's meow.I used to have an 8320e and it only wished it preformed as well as this one does.4.2 right out of the box as compared to the 3.2 of the 8320e? I'd say there is no comparison sure you have 4mb less overall cache. But I see no difference in the two I see actually improved performance over the 8320e.My games load quicker and they run better I have it teamed up with the same 8gb ddr3 memory as well as the same Nvidia GTX 750ti Graphics Card that was paired with the 8320e.I run farming simulator 2017 set up to the Max settings as well as Fallout 4 set on Ultra and it runs like a champ.I can't speak for the stock cooler since I mounted and Enermax 92mm Three Pipe 150 watt TDP Cooler on the chip and it runs approx. 55 degrees F at idle and under gaming load in Fallout 4 at approx.70 -75 degrees F. Once again AMD has out did themselves with a "GREAT PREFOMER" at a Budget Price, as compared to a comparable Intel Chip. But then again I am partial to AMD and have been from the beginning.

Great CPU for gaming.
When I began to build my first PC from scratch this is the first CPU I purchased. After applying thermal compound, I struggled a little bit trying to put the heat sink in and secure it in place. Had to push it down with mild force to get both of the arms onto the mobo cpu mount. I plugged in the fan wire, put the rest of my components together and fired up my new computer. Upon startup Windows loaded fairly quickly. Chrome and Steam were both decently fast to load. My frame rates in games such as GTA V or World of Warcraft were stable at above 50fps, some times I experienced hiccups in GTA V that brought the fps down as low as 29, but only rarely. One notable thing I've noticed is that the fan this CPU comes with becomes rather loud when the CPU is under mild to heavy use. I'd recommend getting a better heat sink and fan, like a Wraith Cooler. (Amazon sells Wraith Coolers, I believe).I used this CPU for a solid year before I replaced it. I didn't replace it because it was defective or dead. I upgraded to an AMD FX 8350; which has eight cores that run at the same speed. By all means I would gladly use this CPU again when I eventually build a second computer for my family. That's what I'm saving it for.

Good processor line, just past its time.
TLDR at bottomOk so decided to buy this CPU because I was a first time builder, cheap price and equivalent single core power score as compared to the higher core FX series chips. Now, what AMD doesn't tell you is that it is actually 2 physical cores with 2 "logical" cores. What that means is that these cores share the SAME memory as the physical, effectively kinda sorta a quad core. If I would've known that I would've bought an 8350 or POSSIBLY an i3 6100.The chip itself is fine for your basic needs, and it can game when paired with a good graphics card. After about two months now I am definitely being able to notice it struggling with things that I know a stronger cpu could handle no problem.tldr; If you plan on buying this chip, think of it as a placeholder for the ZEN chips. Would I recommend this cpu? No, either get an 8350 from AMD or i3 with intel OR if you can wait a few more months see what ZEN has to offer.

Great processor for budget gaming and everyday office and Internet
This chip is competitive with the i3-6100 for entry level gaming and everyday use once you overclock it a few ticks. I've got it running at 4.8ghz rock solid off a decent but nothing special aftermarket air cooler. Never goes much above 65c, even under full load. The unlocked multiplier is very consumer friendly. One thing I cannot stand about AMD chips is that they are still using easy to break pins. No matter how carefully you drop the chip into the socket there is always a small chance of bending a pin. Compare to Intel that hasn't been using pins for at least five years.Another drawback is the old socket type that doesn't support DDR4. If you have an older motherboard running say a Phenom this is a good upgrade but if you are buying new right now in 2016 Intel is the only game in town if you're looking to "future proof" (as much as possible) your build. DDR4 does actually have some benefits for gaming beyond the increased power efficiency. That said, if you're on a budget and every dollar counts this is probably the processor to get.

Great price for great performance!
I got this as a budget alternative to an Intel processor. I have had no problems with it, and have found it perfectly capable of handling "Ultra" settings on the Crysis engine, while also streaming from Netflix and downloading online simultaneously.

Still a good choice for gaming, cheap price, strong performance.
This processor is still very good and efficient in the most demanding games. I can play The Witcher 3 and GTA V smoothly in 1080p with a GTX 970. Some people will say "bottleneck" ... yes. The FX 4350 is far behind a Core i7 but when you reach 60 FPS in average, you don't see the bottleneck. Cheap price, more performance than the others FX 4xxx (thanks to the larger cache and the cores running at 4.2 GHz).It's still a good choice for gaming, specially to replace an old Phenom or the first generation of FX. In heavy multythreaded applications the FX 4350 is far behind the FX 6350 but when it comes to gaming, the FX 4350 is very close in term of performance.

Super schnell
Hatte vorher FX6100.
