Load kardia app on your phone, follow the set up instructions initially. The kardia app on the phone then recognizes the sensor (I have the six line model), and away you go. If you have the protection case on the sensor, it's sometimes is tricky to get a good connection connection with the knee and I have to take the plastic protector off the sensor. I that doesn't work, you may have a bad sensor. **Q: Can anyone use this device in the family?** A: It does ask who the measurement was for so I'm thinking there can be multiple users.
