I was eyeing the 2018 model of this TV since I saw it at BJ's a month ago and I was in love. But after reading reviews about the narrow viewing angle, I had to go back and verify for myself. Sure enough, the colors were washed out if you viewed from anything more than 30 degrees off center. Samsung heard the criticisms and made the 2019 model nothing short of perfection. The picture quality is amazing from any angle. I can watch my shows from my kitchen, about 60 degrees off center and the picture remains consistent. Couple that with its 120Hz Native refresh rate, (240 Motion Rate) and you have a match made in heaven. My video games and movies are crystal clear with zero lag or blur, even during intense high-paced action scenes. I've noticed that you have to be very diligent in researching TVs, because manufacturers will jump through all types of hoops to give you an inflated number. No matter what 60Hz cannot produce a picture this smooth.Picture: 5/5The sound quality from the built-in speakers is good, but not quite as impressive as last year's model. Granted I only got to actually hear the 2018 model in the store, but even in that industrial warehouse of a store, the sound was what reeled me in. I'm not sure why, but the bass isn't quite as rich in this model. This doesn't really matter much to me though, seeing as how I almost exclusively use my Klipsch soundbar for audio. On that note I can say that there is no delay in the optical output audio vs the built-in speaker audio, like I noticed with my last Vizio TV. There is no annoying "echo" effect if I do happen to have both audio outputs active. Lastly, the built-in EQ customizations are top-notch and they should easily suffice for the casual viewer and even some audio streaming. I did find the "Optimized" EQ to be excellent at automatically tuning itself for Spotify music, then my video games and streaming shows on Hulu.Audio: 4/5As you can see from the photos, the design is gorgeous. The bezels are thin, so it's practically all screen and at 2.3 inches thick, it makes a beautiful addition to any home theater setup. Still very nice. I love the smarthub. It auto detects other devices. Basically it auto identified my apple tv and direct tv and setup apps along the bottom so you dont have to change inputs, you just run the app. The smart remote was able to work both devices. The apple tv was controlled flawlessly, but the direct tv was a little rough sometimes. Most of the main apps are there but i still use my apple tv for certain channels as the lineup isnt quite as broad, but alot better than my vizio tv list wise. It has the apple tv app built in as well which gives you access to your library if you buy through apple and dont have the player. I use the player just because it gives me access to apps that the TV doesnt have. Really nice TV. Volume ranges up and down depending on whats playing or what your using, but it does sound good. I have considered a sound bar, but havent forced myself to it yet, so the sounds not that bad. I only wish i had an OLED version, but dont let that diminish the picture quality. I am just a nerd and cant stand to know there is something else better out there. Very Very good TV for the price point. Alot of reviews say the older model is better, but i was very happy with my purchase.

I bought this TV for my husband, who really enjoys watching his TV at night, appreciates and insists on quality, wants an above average picture, but technically can't be classified as a TV guru. We are Samsung and LG fans (phones, kitchen appliances and TVs) and have always had Samsung TVs. We look for quality and reliability over all. This 82" is all that we were hoping it would be and more. The picture is unbelievably clear, and the colors are shockingly vivid. We are not used to HD and this TV's picture is so clear, it is actually is taking us time to get used to the extreme clarity. As far as the sound is concerned, again, we are not extraordinarily picky and we were going to live with the mediocre sound until my Dad purchased a BOSE sound bar for us. Yes, it is MUCH better and I would recommend buying one if the budget allows. I was worried about the negative reviews on the remote. I love the remote, as it is simple and ergonomic; no searching for buttons in the dark, as there are not many to choose from, yet it offers the most important options at your fingertips and I like that! I barely even have to look at the remote to use it. The shipping is a concern, and for your edification, these boxes take a beating when they are shipped. Our TV came with a crack on the bottom. It did not affect the functionality at all and is not visible when mounted on the wall, as it is underneath the screen, but we called Amazon and they made it right. They delivered superior customer service on Christmas Day. I was more than happy with the help they gave us. If you are an Average Joe who desires an amazing picture and great quality on large screen, this TV is it.

El TV tiene un rendimiento excelente, modelo 2019 muy bueno. Tanto en imágen como en sonido. Lo mejor? Su sitema operativo. Super rápido, casi como estar manejando una tablet de alta gama. Sus Apps corren excelente. Recomendado.

Pues llegó en buenas condiciones, es justo lo que quería. Simplemente me ahorre el salir a comprarla.
